this indoor tree house provides
entertainment, fun and a place for
children to read about or imagine
adventures through time. A blue sky,
green meadows, and distant matching
beech trees recreate the magic of Jack
and Annie’s Frog Creek, and help bring
the characters from the series to life.
FOCUS A floor armoire, ceiling swing
and climbing rope give the structure
a true tree house look and feel. A
drop-down drawing and writing table,
wheeled work table and recessed
ceiling lights ensure the room can be
used for more than play. The tree house
has electric interior lighting, a window
to the outdoors and a playful sliding
shutter over a window to the room. The
armoire forms a raised, nine-foot-wide
play area, while a TV within one of the
wall’s floor-to-ceiling cabinets — with
a delightful sliding ladder — transforms
the room into a family theater perfect
for watching movies and holding Wii
competitions.
STORAGE The bottom of the drawing
table is a magnetic chalk board that
doubles as a display for children’s art
works. The tree’s small niches are for
parents’ shoes; the larger compartment
stores children’s shoes and school
bags. Books, games, toys, DVDs, Wii
and other computer accessories are
stored in the wall cabinets. The armoire
contains two spacious drawers and
four nifty hinged storage bins. A rack of
handy “vegetable buckets” above the
armoire stores crayons, scissors and
other useful items.
GROWTH The room easily adapts
from playroom, to party room, to study
room and even to bedroom, as the tree
house easily accommodates a twin-size
mattress.
SAFETY The rungs and rails of the
ladder, as well as the grab bars beside
the tree house door are wrapped
with easy-grip rope for safe climbing.
The drawing table has spring-loaded
hinges to help prevent it from dropping
dangerously from the wall, and the
table door has double sets of locks
up top to ensure safety. The interior of
each storage compartment is carpeted
like the tree house floor to provide extra
padding.
Olamar InteriorsA perfect playroom space for two young girls to grow into. The space contains a custom made playhouse, complete with hidden trap door, custom built in benches with plenty of toy storage and bench cushions for reading, lounging or play pretend. In order to mimic an outdoor space, we added an indoor swing. The side of the playhouse has a small soft area with green carpeting to mimic grass, and a small picket fence. The tree wall stickers add to the theme. A huge highlight to the space is the custom designed, custom built craft table with plenty of storage for all kinds of craft supplies. The rustic laminate wood flooring adds to the cottage theme.

UserSCD updated this twin girl's bedroom to better reflect her artsy style. The colorful parasols set a bohemian tone, while the nail head dresser and shag rug offer lots of texture. The best feature of all is the girl's own creation: a floral sculpture made of crayons. Thanks to a custom-made base, the art is now a chic table!

Ameo ConceptPour cette rénovation partielle, l’enjeu pour l’équipe d’Ameo Concept fut de rénover et aménager intégralement deux chambres d’enfants respectivement de 18,5 et 25,8m2. Ces deux espaces généreux devaient, selon les demandes des deux garçons concernés, respecter une thématique axée autour du jeu vidéo. Afin de rendre cette dernière discrète et évolutive, les aménagements furent traités entièrement sur mesure afin d’y intégrer des rubans led connectés par domotique permettant de créer des ambiances lumineuses sur demande.
Les grands bureaux intègrent des panneaux tapissés afin d’améliorer les performances acoustiques, tandis que les lits une place et demie (120x200cm) s’encadrent de rangements, chevets et têtes de lits pensés afin d’allier optimisation spatiale et confort. Enfin, de grandes alcôves banquettes permettent d’offrir des volumes de détente où il fait bon bouquiner.
Entre menuiserie et tapisserie, un projet détaillé et sophistiqué réalisé clé en main.

Focus: The overall focus for the design of this amazing play-yard was to provide this family with an outdoor space that would foster an active and creative playtime for their children of various ages. The visual focus of this space is the 15-foot tree placed in the middle of the turf yard. This fantastic structure beacons the children to climb the mini stumps and enjoy the slide or swing happily from the branches all the while creating a touch of whimsical nature. Surrounding the tree the play-yard offers an array of activities for these lucky children from the chalkboard walls to create amazing pictures to the custom ball wall to practice their skills, the custom myWall system provides endless options for the kids and parents to keep the space exciting and new. Rock holds easily clip into the wall offering ever changing climbing routes, custom water toys and games can also be adapted to the wall to fit the fun of the day. Storage: The myWall system offers various storage options including shelving, closed cases or hanging baskets all of which can be moved to alternate locations on the wall as the homeowners want to customize the play-yard. Growth: The myWall system is built to grow with the users whether it is with changing taste, updating design or growing children, all the accessories can be moved or replaced while leaving the main frame in place. The materials used throughout the space were chosen for their durability and ability to withstand the harsh conditions for many years. Safety: Safety is of critical concern with any play-yard and a space in the harsh hot summers presented specific concerns which were addressed with light colored materials to reflect the sun and reduce heat buildup and stainless steel hardware was used to avoid rusting. The myWall accessories all use a locking mechanism which allows for easy adjustments but also securely locks the pieces into place once set. The flooring in the treehouse was also textured to eliminate skidding.

The creative and playful feeling is expanded throughout the space with bright green patches of shag carpet invoking the feel of the pasture continuing off the wall and through the room. The space is then flanked with more contemporary and functional elements perfect for children ages 2-12 offering endless hours of play.
Storage:
This playroom offers storage options on every wall, in every corner and even on the floor. The myWall storage and entertainment unit offers countless storage options and configurations along the main wall with open shelving, hanging buckets, closed shelves and pegs, anything you want to store or hang can find a home. Even the floor under the myWall panel is a custom floordrobe perfect for all those small floor toys or blankets. The pasture wall has a shelving unit cloaked as another tree in the field offering opened and closed cubbies for books or toys. The sink and craft area offers a home to all the kids craft supplies nestled right into the countertop with colorful containers and buckets.
Growth:
While this playroom provides fun and creative options for children from 2-12 it can adapt and grow with this family as their children grow and their interests or needs change. The myWall system is developed to offer easy and immediate customization with simple adjustments every element of the wall can be moved offering endless possibilities. The full myWall structure can be moved along with the family if necessary. The sink offers steps for the small children but as they grow they can be removed.
