Captivated by the waterfront views, our clients purchased a 1980s shoreline residence that was in need of a modern update. They entrusted us with the task of adjusting the layout to meet their needs and infusing the space with a palette inspired by Long Island Sound – consisting of light wood, neutral stones and tile, expansive windows and unique lighting accents. The result is an inviting space for entertaining and relaxing alike, blending modern aesthetics with warmth seamlessly.
Ed Sossich at Main Line Kitchen Design
Ed Sossich and Main Line Kitchen Design owner Paul McAlary have worked together at many different showrooms over 20 plus years. Ed refers to the pair as Batman and Robin although who is who is up for debate. Bringing Ed on to check and expedite all of Main Line Kitchen Design’s orders has kept mistakes and delays at our expanding company to a minimum.
Ed, (Batman or Robin), your guess, can be found checking our company’s orders and designing his customer’s kitchens in our new Upper Darby office on City Line Avenue. Ed is quick with a joke although his yellow legal pad is no joking matter for our designers. Ed makes the trains run on time at Main Line Kitchen Design.

This kitchen had a decidedly 90’s feel with oak cabinets and slate flooring combined with large, awkward columns and a cramped kitchen space. We focused on the highlights of the space which were the large windows and large overhead skylights. We used rich tones, contrasting them with bright white walls, light reflecting surfaces and warm, contemporary lighting. The end result is a cozy but light filled space to savor your morning coffee or linger with family and friends around the spacious dining area.
