Continuing the relaxed beach theme through from the open plan kitchen, dining and living this powder room is light, airy and packed full of texture. The wall hung ribbed vanity, white textured tile and venetian plaster walls ooze tactility. A touch of warmth is brought into the space with the addition of the natural wicker wall sconces and reclaimed timber shelves which provide both storage and an ideal display area.

In the heart of Sorena's well-appointed home, the transformation of a powder room into a delightful blend of style and luxury has taken place. This fresh and inviting space combines modern tastes with classic art deco influences, creating an environment that's both comforting and elegant. High-end white porcelain fixtures, coordinated with appealing brass metals, offer a feeling of welcoming sophistication. The walls, dressed in tones of floral green, black, and tan, work perfectly with the bold green zigzag tile pattern. The contrasting black and white floral penny tile floor adds a lively touch to the room. And the ceiling, finished in glossy dark green paint, ties everything together, emphasizing the recurring green theme. Sorena now has a place that's not just a bathroom, but a refreshing retreat to enjoy and relax in.
Step into Sorena's powder room, and you'll find yourself in an artfully designed space where every element has been thoughtfully chosen. Brass accents create a unifying theme, while the quality porcelain sink and fixtures invite admiration and use. A well-placed mirror framed in brass extends the room visually, reflecting the rich patterns that make this space unique. Soft light from a frosted window accentuates the polished surfaces and highlights the harmonious blend of green shades throughout the room. More than just a functional space, Sorena's powder room offers a personal touch of luxury and style, turning everyday routines into something a little more special. It's a testament to what can be achieved when classic design meets contemporary flair, and it's a space where every visit feels like a treat.
The transformation of Sorena's home doesn't end with the powder room. If you've enjoyed taking a look at this space, you might also be interested in the kitchen renovation that's part of the same project. Designed with care and practicality, the kitchen showcases some great ideas that could be just what you're looking for.

A complete home remodel, our #AJMBLifeInTheSuburbs project is the perfect Westfield, NJ story of keeping the charm in town. Our homeowners had a vision to blend their updated and current style with the original character that was within their home. Think dark wood millwork, original stained glass windows, and quirky little spaces. The end result is the perfect blend of historical Westfield charm paired with today's modern style.

This project was not only full of many bathrooms but also many different aesthetics. The goals were fourfold, create a new master suite, update the basement bath, add a new powder bath and my favorite, make them all completely different aesthetics.
Primary Bath-This was originally a small 60SF full bath sandwiched in between closets and walls of built-in cabinetry that blossomed into a 130SF, five-piece primary suite. This room was to be focused on a transitional aesthetic that would be adorned with Calcutta gold marble, gold fixtures and matte black geometric tile arrangements.
Powder Bath-A new addition to the home leans more on the traditional side of the transitional movement using moody blues and greens accented with brass. A fun play was the asymmetry of the 3-light sconce brings the aesthetic more to the modern side of transitional. My favorite element in the space, however, is the green, pink black and white deco tile on the floor whose colors are reflected in the details of the Australian wallpaper.
Hall Bath-Looking to touch on the home's 70's roots, we went for a mid-mod fresh update. Black Calcutta floors, linear-stacked porcelain tile, mixed woods and strong black and white accents. The green tile may be the star but the matte white ribbed tiles in the shower and behind the vanity are the true unsung heroes.
