Our Armadale residence was a converted warehouse style home for a young adventurous family with a love of colour, travel, fashion and fun. With a brief of “artsy”, “cosmopolitan” and “colourful”, we created a bright modern home as the backdrop for our Client’s unique style and personality to shine. Incorporating kitchen, family bathroom, kids bathroom, master ensuite, powder-room, study, and other details throughout the home such as flooring and paint colours.

The overall design was done by Sarah Vaile Interior Design. My contribution to this was the stone specification and architectural details for the intricate inverted chevron tile format.

Modern meets contemporary in this large open wet room. The shower bench blends seamlessly using the same tile as both the ensuite floor and shower tile. To its left a wood look feature wall is seen to add a natural element to the space. The same wood look tile is utilized in the shower niche created on the opposing wall. A large deep free standing tub is set in the wet room beside the curbless shower.

Painting a room a bright and bold paint color can be daunting. But, it doesn't have to be! A bathroom with white quartz countertops, white cabinets and white (marble inspired) hexagon floor tile, made for the perfect opportunity to inject color... and why not hot pink!
MARGARITA BRAVO
This master bathroom is an oasis of clean, bright design with an abundance of natural light. Our Montecito clients wanted a contemporary space, and we gave them hyper modernism with custom materials imported from Italy. A glass walk-in shower with sleek fixtures is a subtle touch to balance the dramatic artwork. Our favorite feature in this master bath is the hand-made mosaic micro tile wall.
