Make RoomThe client asked us to do the interior styling for the nursery of her unborn baby. The gender of the baby was going to be a surprise so we styled the room in a way that wood be suitable for either a boy or a girl. We styled the room with furniture, soft furnishings and accessories. We used inviting colours, added cute animal pictures and created a wall mural. When the baby was born (a girl!) some pink accents were added to the scheme.

built-in bunk beds, and a den with a wet bar giving you and your family room to sit back and relax.
Iconic by Kaitlyn WolfeWe were delighted to find out a previous client of ours was expecting another baby! We were tasked to design a nursery that was calming, masculine and playful. We incorporated a curated gallery wall, ceiling mural and LED baby name sign that cannot be forgotten! Within this small space, we had to include a crib, rocking chair, changing table and daybed. We were focused on making it functional for not only the baby but also for the parents. The fur rug is not only extremely comfortable, but also machine washable - that's a win-win! The layered jute rug underneath creates visual interest and texture. The striped ottoman, black daybed and leather drawer pulls bring the masculinity to the room. We had a custom LED baby name sign made for over the crib, which can be dimmed to any brightness and is safe for children (unlike neon). Baby Andres was born on May 11th. 2020.

Kirsten Johnstone Architecture (formerly Eco Edge Architecture + Interior Design) has applied personal and professional experience in the design of the built-in joinery here. The fun of a window seat includes storage drawers below which seamlessly transitions into a desk with overhead cupboards and an open bookshelf dividing element. Floor to ceiling built-in robes includes double height hanging, drawers, shoe storage and shelves ensuring a place for everything (who left those shoes out!?).

Top bunk raised higher for more space between beds = no more bumped heads on the bottom. Curated NestA lovely Brooklyn Townhouse with an underutilized garden floor (walk out basement) gets a full redesign to expand the footprint of the home. The family of four needed a playroom for toddlers that would grow with them, as well as a multifunctional guest room and office space. The modern play room features a calming tree mural background juxtaposed with vibrant wall decor and a beanbag chair.. Plenty of closed and open toy storage, a chalkboard wall, and large craft table foster creativity and provide function. Carpet tiles for easy clean up with tots and a sleeper chair allow for more guests to stay. The guest room design is sultry and decadent with golds, blacks, and luxurious velvets in the chair and turkish ikat pillows. A large chest and murphy bed, along with a deco style media cabinet plus TV, provide comfortable amenities for guests despite the long narrow space. The glam feel provides the perfect adult hang out for movie night and gaming. Tibetan fur ottomans extend seating as needed.
