Our Indianapolis design studio designed a gut renovation of this home which opened up the floorplan and radically changed the functioning of the footprint. It features an array of patterned wallpaper, tiles, and floors complemented with a fresh palette, and statement lights. Photographer - Sarah Shields --- Project completed by Wendy Langston's Everything Home interior design firm, which serves Carmel, Zionsville, Fishers, Westfield, Noblesville, and Indianapolis. A beautiful midcentury modern kitchen in a lovely shade of blue works well with the white quartz and the warm tones of the face grain butcher block.

We love finishing basements and this one was no exception. Creating a new family friendly space from dark and dingy is always so rewarding. Tschida Construction facilitated the construction end and we made sure even though it was a small space, we had some big style. The slat stairwell feature males the space feel more open and spacious and the artisan tile in a basketweave pattern elevates the space. Installing luxury vinyl plank on the floor in a warm brown undertone and light wall color also makes the space feel less basement and a more open and airy.

What started as a kitchen and two-bathroom remodel evolved into a full home renovation plus conversion of the downstairs unfinished basement into a permitted first story addition, complete with family room, guest suite, mudroom, and a new front entrance. We married the midcentury modern architecture with vintage, eclectic details and thoughtful materials.

The kitchen that speaks in natural woods, textures and colors. You do not have ask what the passion is of these clients. Large sections of contrasting bamboo and walnut woods in a loving dance around the wine bar. Clean contrasting lines of the white ceramic tile and quartz counter, all set on a stage of the Brazilian Cherry floor.
