Custom bamboo cabinetry adds much needed function to this mudroom entry. The look was kept minimal and modern by opting to forego hardware.
My Bespoke Room
We love #MBRDesigner Tracey's cloakroom, especially the dog washing station for little Monty.
The gorgeous deep green and black cabinets give the space a modern and dramatic feel but they also help hide the muddy paw prints.
Tracey has also given the space some natural texture using wooden slats and houseplants that bring the space to life.
And lastly, she has included some brilliant storage in the form of shelving, under bench seating as well as some adorable dog tail coat hooks to hang all her leads, handbags and coats.

We've created a new Entry/Mudroom In this home. Architect provided transom windows to add light. Not a lot of Glitz and Glam but the functional space the client was looking for.....with a few pops of color.

This room was previously a space left unfinished by the original homeowners. We finished off the framing and sheetrock to create a nook for the clients to use as they enter the home from their Garage.
We used a portion of the original upper cabinets from the Kitchen for the garage entry room, as well as a blend of the additional steel cabinets sourced from another Kitchen out of state. We arranged them just so, and with two filler strips the lower cabinets became a perfect fit. The pendants were originally flush mount fixtures in the upper hallway and we had them restrung so that they could hang on either side of the upper cabinets. The flooring was also replaced with LVT and it transitions into the amazing original Terrazzo in the hallway.

First home, savvy art owners, decided to hire RBD to design their recently purchased two story, four bedroom, midcentury Diamond Heights home to merge their new parenthood and love for entertaining lifestyles. Hired two months prior to the arrival of their baby boy, RBD was successful in installing the nursery just in time. The home required little architectural spatial reconfiguration given the previous owner was an architect, allowing RBD to focus mainly on furniture, fixtures and accessories while updating only a few finishes. New paint grade paneling added a needed midcentury texture to the entry, while an existing site for sore eyes radiator, received a new walnut cover creating a built-in mid-century custom headboard for the guest room, perfect for large art and plant decoration. RBD successfully paired furniture and art selections to connect the existing material finishes by keeping fabrics neutral and complimentary to the existing finishes. The backyard, an SF rare oasis, showcases a hanging chair and custom outdoor floor cushions for easy lounging, while a stylish midcentury heated bench allows easy outdoor entertaining in the SF climate.

Painting the door in a bright yellow created a warm welcome and set the expectation for entering the home. The color pops throughout the house creating an energizing, yet surprisingly calm feel no matter which room you are in.
The home itself has a golden energy and the pops of yellow both embrace and enhance the incredible light that floods through the windows.

What was previously a narrow and dark entrance hallway was expanded to include a built-in bench/locker/cubby. The space was also brightened with a sun-tube skylight and additional lighting.
