The entrance to the wine cellar is enhanced with vines cascading down the walls. The walls are also fauxed to look like stone. The two crests framed to the right of the door are European dish cloths

A modern interpretation of Italianate architecture, this home is located on the ocean cliffs in Shell Beach, California. Interior spaces include three bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, wine cellar and an exercise room. The basement level has a home theater and billiards room.

In this wine tasting area just outside the wine cellar we made it a dual purpose area. We can also use this a a game table for the guys to play cards. For the seat cushions and artwork, we found some vintage dish towels and used the as art and for the seat cushions. Think out of the box and you too can be original! Over top of the game table is a circular coffer highlighted with rope lighting.
Creative Storage
Up to 200 bottles of wine with various types of storage make this not only functional, but also interesting to look at. Architectural salvage elements for the tasting table give the space it's Mediterranean flair.

The client discovered a large but passed-over property overlooking a beautiful part of Canyon Lake. When we hiked down the overgrown hillside and came to a small clearing with a glimpse of the lake, all of the potential of the site began to unfold, and the client shouted “This is it!”
We designed the house to fit the hillside on three levels, with the main-level rooms opening to loggias that overlook a pool terrace with stunning views of the lake.
The house serves as a retreat for a large family and a place to entertain business associates.
The client provided antique mantels, flooring and other materials that add a patina of well-worn age to the home.
