The best of outdoor living gracefully blends landscaping and the entertaining spaces organically. The lines are soft, the lights don't feel out of place, rather they enhance the experience. The spaces are large enough to fit a lot of people, yet intimate enough for an evening for two.

A love of gardening and a desire for a Mediterranean-type terrace were the impetus for this quiet oasis located behind a house on a busy street corner. Through levelling a large area by terracing the sloping lot and taming the landscape using flagstones with a brick border and cobblestone edging, we were able to create a multifunctional space perfect for entertaining. The bar/cooking area, the dining area and the conversation area happily coexist with the surrounding gardens and beautiful fountain to create this wonderful haven for the homeowners.
Homes designed by Franconia interior designer Randy Trainor. She also serves the New Hampshire Ski Country, Lake Regions and Coast, including Lincoln, North Conway, and Bartlett.

Influenced by English Cotswold and French country architecture, this eclectic European lake home showcases a predominantly stone exterior paired with a cedar shingle roof. Interior features like wide-plank oak floors, plaster walls, custom iron windows in the kitchen and great room and a custom limestone fireplace create old world charm. An open floor plan and generous use of glass allow for views from nearly every space and create a connection to the gardens and abundant outdoor living space.

This outdoor kitchen and bar design created a comfortable dining space utilizing the natural light of Tucson's bright sunshine. The natural elements using native area components and material add to the local ambiance and casual environment. The marble counter tops create a practical and attractive solution to outdoor food and drink preparation. The Mexican Equipale furniture adds to the overall theme. Photo - John Sartin

Our client fell in love with these lights in Italy (who wouldn't) and we were only to glad too incorporate them in a way that makes outdoor entertaining a little more magical not only stringing them from the house to the tree, we also added a dimmer so the mood can be set for any occasion.
