For this bathroom we created a soothing spa-like vibe by using a green tile with tonal variation. The floor is a small white hexagon tile to draw in light. The toilet is dual flush and the vanity is slatted wood with a black faucet.

A bathroom corridor ??? – Why not it works in this space. Like a kitchen can be the central hub for a home. A bathroom if well designed can incorporate the necessary utilities, storage and also act as a corridor as long as you have doors to lock for privacy
Homeowners’ request: we want a clean contemporary bathroom with a large shower
Designer secret: In this case I designed the bathroom as a corridor, loads of tall, deep storage with sliding doors built-in closet , 2 entry doors (with locks for privacy) and an oversize shower, double vanity& more storage above, the secrete is in the layout but the chosen materials help the space still look large and airy . It’s not about the glam and glitz but more about the simplicity and functionality..

For the bathroom tile, the clients chose our Barcelona La Merced Quarter 6"x6" tiles to create a bright Mediterranean shower. The coordinating blue trim ties in the tiles from the bathroom into the shower.
Also used in the bathroom were our Barcelona La Merced 6"x6" tiles for the entire lower half of this bathroom wall. Smaller La Merced 3"x3" tiles create a lovely border along the top. Coordinating blue cornice and liner tiles add a nice contrast along the edges of the decorative tiles.
Our Yucatan Ceramic Field Tile collection, and its extensive molding and trim options, were used for this bathroom’s backsplash.

Dark paint can be sensational; however the drywall needs to be as close to flawless as possible to avoid seeing imperfections. Even the slightest bump in the wall can look magnified if painted a dark color.

This simultaneously elegant and relaxed Tuscan style home on a secluded redwood-filled property is designed for the easiest of transitions between inside and out. Terraces extend out from the house to the lawn, and gravel walkways meander through the gardens. A light filled entry hall divides the home into public and private areas.
