CaliScape Landscape ServicesThis client was in need of some serious curb appeal to complement their beautiful Spanish Style home in Santa Barbara, CA. We were very conscious of creating a low water design for their expansive outdoor space by installing a drip irrigation system in tandem with drought tolerant plants.
JAMIE DURIE DESIGNThis design was based on an outdoor living room. The client wanted to invert the living spaces of the home to the outdoors by creating not just one but several outdoor rooms. The plantings were Mediterranean-inspired, with topiary pines, shaped box hedge, olives, succulents and bougainvillea.

The design of external living spaces is known as the 'Al Fresco' design style as it is called in Italian. 'Al Fresco' translates into 'the open' or 'the cool/fresh exterior'.
