An adorable but worn down beach bungalow gets a complete remodel and an added roof top deck for ocean views. The design cues for this home started with a love for the beach and a Vetrazzo counter top! Vintage appliances, pops of color, and geometric shapes drive the design and add interest. A comfortable and laid back vibe create a perfect family room. Several built-ins were designed for much needed added storage. A large roof top deck was engineered and added several square feet of living space. A metal spiral staircase and railing system were custom built for the deck. Ocean views and tropical breezes make this home a fabulous beach bungalow.

Use of natural elements, such as wood and woven materials in the home’s interior design and furnishings, along with wooden beams on the ceiling and exterior, provide a seamless thread from indoors to outside.

Dark colors and sleek lines give this Asian inspired guest bath its dramatic look. Made from rift oak, the ebony stained vanity provides a nice contrast against the grey wall. The charcoal grey concrete countertop and backsplash lends depth to the cool color palette while the shower’s iridescent metallic pewter tiles from Walker Zanger lend a modern and glamorous touch. A white bubble light floats above the tiled sink and decorative Asian accents. The simple maple stained window casing ties this bathroom to the rest of the residence pulling together the design.

From the shower looking out into the guest bathroom, with a custom black vanity and brass fixtures. The black and white boldly patterned floor tile is the prominent feature in this bathroom and we carried the tile into the shower floor. The large round mirror has dramatic torch sconces on each side, to play up the modern-deco vibe.

Main bathroom. With a mixture of black mosaic tile feature walls and black marble to the rest. This bathroom definitely oozes luxury.

This beautiful secondary bathroom is a welcoming space that will spoil and comfort any guest. The 8x8 decorative Nola Orleans tile is the focal point of the room and creates movement in the design. The 3x12 cotton white subway tile and deep white Kohler tub provide a clean backdrop to allow the flooring to take center stage, while making the room appear spacious. A shaker style vanity in Harbor finish and shadow storm vanity top elevate the space and Kohler chrome fixtures throughout add a perfect touch of sparkle. We love the mirror that was chosen by our client which compliments the floor pattern and ties the design perfectly together in an elegant way.
You don’t have to feel limited when it comes to the design of your secondary bathroom. We can design a space for you that every one of your guests will love and that you will be proud to showcase in your home.

The second guest bath also has a walk in shower just off camera to the left. The distressed cabinet anchors the space set off against the shiplap walls.
