Cascade Outdoor DesignWith a fully loaded outdoor kitchen, sleek spa with a cozy patio and linear gas fire pit, raised garden, and an industrial corten steel fire pit big enough for hog roasts, this yard has it all! The homeowners wanted a space where they can entertain all of their friends, so we gave them a large outdoor kitchen made entirely of glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) including the "wood" posts. There is space to sit and share a meal, a Perlick kegerator, an oversized Lynx grill adjacent to a Big Green Egg, a trash chute, and a sink. Peacock Pavers stepping stones lead to a patio with a custom GFRC spa surround framed by a minimalist wood pergola. The homeowners can relax on the double lounge chair while enjoying the warm glow of the wood-look GFRC fire pit. A gravel patio makes the perfect space for a large custom fabricated corten fire pit, complete with a removable grilling surface to easily switch from enjoying a bonfire to roasting dinner. The space is finished off by low maintenance landscaping.

ballonSTUDIO interiors & remodelingA city couple looking for a place to escape to in St. Helena, in Napa Valley, built this modern home, designed by Butler Armsden Architects. The double height main room of the house is a living room, breakfast room and kitchen. It opens through sliding doors to an outdoor dining room and lounge. We combined their treasured family heirlooms with sleek furniture to create an eclectic and relaxing sanctuary.

Neptune Swimming PoolsWe collaborated with Visioneer builders and Rob Mills Architects on this unique pool for a luxurious Toorak home.
The pool was located in the front garden, facing the road and therefore created a new challenge for our design team. This project features a rounded pool and separate round spa with luxurious finishes that act as an additional feature to the landscape. The unique sphere shaped plants surrounding the pool creates a contrast that adds dimension and colour to the relatively neutral colour palette, whilst also keeping the rounded shape that aligns with the pool and spa.
Because this is a family home, additional inclusions were considered as part of the design process, this ensures that the space not only had amazing visual features, but practical safety elements meaning that access can be more carefully controlled.
The denim penny round tiles further complimented the sphere theme of the project and provided a unique look to the space. The light colour also created a stark contrast between the greenery of the shrubs and the neutral colours of the home and surrounding Eco Outdoor Granite coping.

C&R RemodelingA large but pedestrian back yard became a glamorous playground for grown-ups. The vision started with a motion pool and cabana. As the design progressed, it grew to encompass the entire yard area.
The Cabana is designed to embrace entertaining, with an interior living space, kitchenette, and an open-air covered hearth area. These environments seamlessly integrate and visually connect to the new garden. The Cabana also functions as a private Guest House, and takes advantage of the beautiful spring and summer weather, while providing a protected area in the cold and wet winter months. Sustainable materials are used throughout and features include an open hearth area with fireplace, an interior living space with kitchenette and bathroom suite, a spa tub and exercise pool.
