Chasing Arcadia Garden Design
The Sea Garden was a hugely popular show garden at BBC Gardener's World Live. Inspired by Aldeburgh beach in Suffolk, it featured a 'fisherman's hut' which opened up to reveal a vintage style outdoor bar and kitchen, a seat made from an upcycled boat and a sunken chillout zone with sand floor. Driftwood and pebbles continued the coastal theme. All these features could be easily reproduced in a real garden.

Our clients in Bloomfield Michigan wanted their old wooden steps replaced with something safe, sturdy and beautiful. We installed 35 natural guillotine cut stone steps each weighing over 200 lbs. To soften the slope we incorporated tumbled paver landings. Along with a stepping stone pathway to the dock we installed a tumbled block seating wall. Both sides were enhanced with lots of perennials to add color and interest. Landscape lighting was installed to add beauty and safety in the evenings.

Smalls Landscaping
The lakeside was steeply sloped, heavily wooded, overgrown so much that the house was not visible from the lake nor were the clients happy about their lack of lake view.

Large monolithic architectural details are something we try
and bring into all our projects, it’s these details that allow us
to be looser with wilder with our planting palettes and for
the outcome to still feel considered. In this case, the benches allowed us to terrace the site creating activated zones to higher use of the functionality.

Nature Designs Landscaping
This beautiful water feature re-design & remodel was for our client's gorgeous home perched on the cliffs of La Jolla, CA. We redesigned & upgraded the existing water system, removed the leaking and dated stream, installed a new natural garden stream (focused on highlighting the 3 granite cored fountains and the tumbling waterfalls), installed new drainage, irrigation, planting & landscape lighting, as well as flagstone "bridges" for the water feature to cross under existing walkways.

Orca Chair is a customized, form-fitting, and functional achievement in design and usability.
Modelled in the semblance of a killer whale, the curvaceously contoured chair exudes comfort and style. Several patterned, symmetrical openings serve as handles in key areas for ease of maneuverability, as well as a way to prevent water build-up in the concave structure, providing the added feature of water drainage and easy clean-up.
Available in 43 exterior colours with white as the inside primary colour, this is the chair of the season for outdoor patio parties, functions and hotel, bar, restaurant and lounge events. Sporty as well as spacious, sleek as well as sensible, Orca is a chair that can be enjoyed poolside at the home away from home, beach side, or as part of an outdoor courtyard-themed speciality look.

Stone steps lead up to the top of the burm where you discover the beginning of a 45 foot slide. The excavated soil for the swimming pool was kept on site and used as a landscape feature.

Rustic slate walling, with Slate Caps create a striking backdrop to the array of colourful flowers. The 2 tier garden brings a more interesting space to spend quality time at, and helps break up the space. Some clever landscaping indeed!
