Rudloff Custom Builders
One can see from this "AFTER" picture the improvements that were made to this gorgeous home.
The large french doors on the left side of the entry were replaced by a large picture window & new half round window. Additional changes were made on a few of the half rounds by adding gracefully curved style mullions softening the lines of the home.
The balconet and balusters above the entry's double doors were refreshed and new flagstone welcomes visitors into this lovely home..
French style traditional shutters were added and brick pavers grace the driveway.
All brick was painted the same color as the stucco giving the home a clean bright transitional look.
This home was featured in Philadelphia Magazine August 2014 issue to showcase its beauty and excellence.

An outdoor shower was added to the outdoor living space with the same artistry and craftsmanship as found throughout the entire project. The area features a custom shower made of Knotwood with glass tile in Luanda Bay Abruzzo Pearl lining the entire wall. Ipe wood and artificial turf accent the area.

Michelle's Interiors
I redesigned the blue prints for the stone entryway to give it the drama and heft that's appropriate for a home of this caliber. I widened the metal doorway to open up the view to the interior, and added the stone arch around the perimeter. I also defined the porch with a stone border in a darker hue.

Clawson Architects, LLC
Rear elevation of new home construction. On the main street heading into Maplewood Village sat a home that was completely out of scale and did not exhibit the grandeur of the other homes surrounding it. When the home became available, our client seized the opportunity to create a home that is more in scale and character with the neighborhood. By creating a home with period details and traditional materials, this new home dovetails seamlessly into the the rhythm of the street while providing all the modern conveniences today's busy life demands.
Clawson Architects was pleased to work in collaboration with the owners to create a new home design that takes into account the context, period and scale of the adjacent homes without being a "replica". It recalls details from the English Arts and Crafts style. The stucco finish on the exterior is consistent with the stucco finish on one of the adjacent homes as well as others on the block.
