Lakefront residence in exclusive south Florida golf course community. Use of mixed metallic textiles and finishes combined with lucite furniture allows the view and bold oversized art to become the visual centerpieces of each space. Large sculptural light fixtures fill the height created by the soaring vaulted ceilings. Lux fabrics mixed with chrome or lucite create a contemporary feel to the space without losing the soft comforts that make this space feel like home.

The floor is in a textured grey porcelain tile and the walls are clad in a Calcutta marble looking engineered slab. For the window above the tub rain glass was added for privacy but still allows ample natural light to flow into the space. A builder basic master bathroom was totally reimagined with a new layout and luxurious new materials and finishes. We moved the shower to where the original commode was. The tub where the double vanity was and the vanity where the shower was. A second closet in the bathroom made way for the new commode area. We clad the walls and ceiling in panel mouldings and painted the walls a deep gray. A beautiful scenic wallpaper becomes a focal point at the free-standing tub. The light fixture ties it in. We used porcelain for the vanity top and bookmatched in the shower. The vanity is a gorgeous custom walnut piece

The brief was to create a Classic Contemporary Ensuite and Principle bedroom which would be home to a number of Antique furniture items, a traditional fireplace and Classical artwork. We created key zones within the bathroom to make sufficient use of the large space; providing a large walk-in wet-floor shower, a concealed WC area, a free-standing bath as the central focus in symmetry with his and hers free-standing basins. We ensured a more than adequate level of storage through the vanity unit, 2 bespoke cabinets next to the window and above the toilet cistern as well as plenty of ledge spaces to rest decorative objects and bottles. We provided a number of task, accent and ambient lighting solutions whilst also ensuring the natural lighting reaches as much of the room as possible through our design. Our installation detailing was delivered to a very high level to compliment the level of product and design requirements.
