A home this vibrant is something to admire. We worked alongside Greg Baudoin Interior Design, who brought this home to life using color. Together, we saturated the cottage retreat with floor to ceiling personality and custom finishes. The rich color palette presented in the décor pairs beautifully with natural materials such as Douglas fir planks and maple end cut countertops. Surprising features lie around every corner. In one room alone you’ll find a woven fabric ceiling and a custom wooden bench handcrafted by Birchwood carpenters. As you continue throughout the home, you’ll admire the custom made nickel slot walls and glimpses of brass hardware. As they say, the devil is in the detail. Photo credit: Jacqueline Southby

The centerpiece of this exquisite kitchen is the deep navy island adorned with a stunning quartzite slab. Its rich hue adds a touch of sophistication and serves as a captivating focal point. Complementing this bold choice, the two-tone color-blocked cabinet design elevates the overall aesthetic, showcasing a perfect blend of style and functionality. Light counters and a thoughtfully selected backsplash ensure a bright and inviting atmosphere. The intelligent layout separates the work zones, allowing for seamless workflow, while the strategic placement of the island seating around three sides ensures ample space and prevents any crowding. A larger window positioned above the sink not only floods the kitchen with natural light but also provides a picturesque view of the surrounding environment. And to create a cozy corner for relaxation, a delightful coffee nook is nestled in front of the lower windows, allowing for moments of tranquility and appreciation of the beautiful surroundings. --- Project completed by Wendy Langston's Everything Home interior design firm, which serves Carmel, Zionsville, Fishers, Westfield, Noblesville, and Indianapolis. Coastline Natural Stone Veneer Fireplace
Coastline Natural Stone Veneer Fireplace
Quarry MillQuarry Mill
This gorgeous rustic inspired cobblestone fireplace is made Coastline natural thin stone veneer from the Quarry Mill. Coastline is a natural New England cobblestone. The pieces of natural stone veneer come in various colors, shapes and sizes. Coastline has a weathered and naturally rough texture with mainly earth tones. This thin stone veneer is a great fit on lake houses or coastal homes. Stones of this style can also be referred to as boulders or round side out stone. Coastline is unique because it is not a quarried stone by rather a natural fieldstone. Cobblestones can be used for both interior and exterior applications and are well suited for both large and small projects. For masons who are comfortable with and have experience installing cobblestones, they typically go quickly and have a medium to low installation cost.

Contracted to photograph multiple projects for Trunk UK (based in Kesh, N. Ireland), this was the most prestigious. Part of an expansive country estate in Kildare, Ireland, I photographed one of the outlying buildings being developed for hospitality end use. My client's products were the wooden floors, tiling and some wooden trim integrated within the property to reflect and enhance the original decor of the property. The project was shot in two days and turnaround from start to delivery of images to client was four working days. Such a pleasure to experience this grand and historic place.
