Prime oak engineered herringbone block in larger format was used throughout the open living space. The blocks were installed and finished in situ.

Design Directives, LLCThis lovely home began as a complete remodel to a 1960 era ranch home. Warm, sunny colors and traditional details fill every space. The colorful gazebo overlooks the boccii court and a golf course. Shaded by stately palms, the dining patio is surrounded by a wrought iron railing. Hand plastered walls are etched and styled to reflect historical architectural details. The wine room is located in the basement where a cistern had been.

MLB Design GroupThis view shows the added built-in surrounding a flat screen tv. To accomplish necessary non-combustible surfaces surrounding the new wood-burning stove by Rais, I wrapped the right side of the cabinetry with stone tile. This little stove can heat an 1100 SF space.

Curated NestThis living room renovation features a transitional style with a nod towards Tudor decor. The living room has to serve multiple purposes for the family, including entertaining space, family-together time, and even game-time for the kids. Quarry MillThe Quarry Mill's Salem natural thin stone veneer complements the cozy feel of this shabby-chic living area. Salem natural stone veneer brings a relaxing blend of granites sourced throughout New England. The stone is characterized as a castle rock style due to the large rectangular pieces of stone. This style is also referred to as square-rectangular or square-rec for short. The individual pieces can range from 4″-12″ in height allowing your mason to create a natural looking wall with non-repeating patterns. Salem thin stone veneer is most commonly found on large scale exterior projects. The stones will be snapped (a natural and still rustic looking edge created by breaking the stone with a hydraulic press) on all four sides. The castle rock is almost always installed with a mortar joint between the pieces of stone.
