Heathfield & CoThe clients of this luxury residence tasked Atelier Interior Design to create a space that balances sophistication and elegance whilst also being suitable for a young and energetic family. Our lighting makes several appearances throughout this refined, yet comfortable interior.
Cher Simpson Watt InteriorsLuxury Sitting Room in Belfast. Includes paneling, shagreen textured wallpaper, bespoke joinery, furniture and soft furnishings. Faux Fur and silk cushions complete this comfortable corner.
Simpson & VoyleThe deep, inky-toned paint was used to wrap the whole room, creating drama and luxury. The period features from this double-fronted reception room were fully restored and the fireplace was restored. We chose a warm wood for the floor, in a herringbone pattern to add a sense of warmth and luxury. A 1920s sofa was reupholstered, alongside a vintage cocktail chair, keeping the palette consistent, and allowing the pops of colour to come from the artwork and feature lighting. The pink Murano glass chandelier is a dramatic focal point, both playful and theatrical. We introduced touches of brass to complement the colours and textures. The velvet on the furniture gives a sense of inviting comfort. Bespoke roman blinds, also in the colour palette of the space, allow lots of light into the room and do not intrude on the sofa placed against the window.

STEPHEN FLETCHER ARCHITECTSWe were commissioned to transform a tired Victorian mansion flat in Sloane Street into an elegant contemporary apartment. Although the original layout has largely been retained, extensive structural alterations were carried out to improve the relationships between the various spaces. This required close liason with The Cadogan Estate.

Spaces Designed, Interior Design Studio, LLCRemarkable focal points in each area aim to capture the personality of the homeowners – An elegant vintage chandelier that draws the gaze when sitting in the parlor, baroque hand made paintings that add a French colonial charm to the dining room and a stunning marble fireplace with a pattern that just takes the viewer’s breath away and adds glamour to the living room.
A lighter toned color brightens up the entire space while creating a rustic and comfortable decor overall.
Comfy Shag rugs on the sofas ensure the family dog has a cozy spot to snuggle in. A vintage area rug with hand-selected accessories in the cabinets around the fireplace finish out a gorgeous and welcoming room. Dining area chairs with a pop of blue around a sturdy round oak table personify energy yet are classically elegant.
A lot of time, effort and of course, patience went into this 4-year project. But the end result is a balanced, harmonious space that reflects the personality of the people who use it, which is what good Design is all about.
Summer Thornton Design, IncA pink velvet sofa pops against dark teal walls with traditional millwork. The lucite coffee table adds a modern touch and offsets the traditional heavy mantle. Animal prints, plush accent pillows and a soft area rug make this living room anything but stuffy.
