Design Penguin completely remodelled the sitting room in this Cornish cottage to turn it into a contemporary cinema room. Dark Farrow and Ball Brinjal walls, rich velvet Loaf sofa and gold wall lights add drama, with cast iron radiator and wooden flooring sympathetic to the original features of the room.

Taking inspiration from the tropical interior design trend, the bright and light living room is fun and relaxing. Lime and deep greens are mixed in the geometric print rug with pops of bright red accent colour. Mixing printed scatter cushions gives a homely feel. Außergewöhnlicher könnte ein Hotel kaum noch sein, als das Faralda NDSM Crane Hotel in Amsterdam. Der denkmalgeschützte Verladekran in der ehemaligen Schiffswerft wurde nach der Idee des Bauherrn und Projektentwicklers Edwin Kornmann Rudi in Kooperation mit IAA Architecten Amsterdam und den Ingenieuren von VDNDP bouwingenieurs innovativ restauriert und beherbergt nun drei anspruchsvolle Suiten. In den eleganten Designerbädern kamen verschiedene Design-Kollektionen von Villeroy & Boch zum Einsatz, auf der obersten Terrasse befindet sich sogar ein Whirlpool der SportX-Line – das alles in schwindelerregenden 35 bis 45 Metern Höhe.

Le séjour et l'escalier totalement décloisonnés apporte un sentiment de grandeur au rez-de-chaussée. Le bloc violet autour duquel s'enroule l'escalier, dissimule le WC.

La bibliothèque sur-mesure vient se détacher sur un mur couleur lie de vin (Aventurer de chez Little Greene) et se lier avec les différents éléments de l'ancienne décoration. La contrainte était d'intégrer le tapis multicolore que la cliente avait fait réaliser sur-mesure il y a quelques années.
