The living space was designed to not only reflect the mid-century modern style but also to take advantage of view with floor to ceiling windows. With warm sunrises and sunsets almost every day, we also wanted to incorporate this by using warm tones throughout.

A further fireplace was refurbished in this more formal relaxing lounge. Striking wallpaper from K&K/Roger Austin added a dimension to the room, alongside the historical pieces of furniture and chandelier. The 3 sofas with eclectic mix of both patterned and textured cushions were placed for a communication line with guests as well as linking in with the television that the client preferred wall mounted for relaxation. Wave curtains again framed the beautiful curved bay with views onto the gardens and neighbouring Castle. 3 round coffee tables were placed to soften down the square lines under the chandelier, mixed with antique elements in a warm wood.

Accent Wallpaper really helped break this long large living room up and really adds depth. A convex mirror throws light around but gives a fun full view of your beautiful room. Large Sectional invites you to lay and read, watching TV, or conversing with friends and family. A table at the window makes roo for puzzles and games or homework.

This family room is a study in the modern Mediterranean style, combining tradition with modern elegance.

This warm, elegant, and inviting great room is complete with rich patterns, textures, fabrics, wallpaper, stone, and a large custom multi-light chandelier that is suspended above. The two way fireplace is covered in stone and the walls on either side are covered in a knot fabric wallpaper that adds a subtle and sophisticated texture to the space. A mixture of cool and warm tones makes this space unique and interesting. The space is anchored with a sectional that has an abstract pattern around the back and sides, two swivel chairs and large rectangular coffee table. The large sliders collapse back to the wall connecting the interior and exterior living spaces to create a true indoor/outdoor living experience. The cedar wood ceiling adds additional warmth to the home.

Earlier this year we completed a kitchen, lounge and bedroom refurbishment on behalf of our lovely client, and felt honoured to be called back to also refurbish their dining room into a cosy snug area recently.
When designing the space, we wanted to repeat similar materials, colours and themes that were in the other refurbished areas so that our client's property had flow and harmony.
We replaced the flooring throughout the house and incorporated a gorgeous sisal rug made from the same material as the main lounge and had the space painted in the same colour as the hallway and had a feature wall installed to provide tantalising texture.
Before doing this, we had the side window safely boarded up so that wall lights could be installed and so that the room regained it's symmetry.
Previously, the window provided only a restricted amount of day light due to the neighbouring property obstructing light, and hence, was redundant of it's primary function.
We decided to install wall lights each side of the television to provide additional lighting that did not obstruct the view of the TV.
Overall, the space was transformed into an indulgent yet gloriously cosy room, perfect for snuggling up, watching a film and welcoming those winter nights in.
