Bright white, shaker style cabinets and butcher block counter tops, combine to brighten up this cottage kitchen. A farmhouse sink base in a contrasting wood adds a vintage feel.

This kitchen is a wheelchair accessible kitchen designed by Adam Thomas of Design Matters. With two separate height-adjustable worktops, acrylic doors and brushed steel handles for comfortable use with impaired grip. The two Corian worktops are fully height adjustable and have raised edges on all four sides to contain hot spills and reduce the risk of injury. The integrated sink is special depth to enable good wheelchair access with minimal plumbing supplies. Note the complete absence of trailing wires and plumbing supplies under worktop height. They are contained in a space behind the modesty panel. There are safety stops on all four edges of the rise and fall units, including the bottom edge of the modesty panel, to protect feet and wheelchair footplates. Stunning feature Spekva dining peninsula in foreground. Photographs by Jonathan Smithies Photography. Copyright Design Matters KBB Ltd. All rights reserved.

The clients requested a kitchen that was simple, flush and had that built-in feel. This kitchen achieves that and so much more with the fabulously multi-tasking island, and the fun red splash back.

Glacier Glass Splashback. This client opted for two tone cabinets and therefore wanted a neutral backdrop to make to make their cabinets sing! We created a glass splashback behind the range cooker, and then some matching glass up stands. This gives the client flexibility of repainting the walls to transform the look of the kitchen. Glass is the perfect alternative to tiles. Modern, easy clean and completely customisable it has many advantages. It is possible to choose any colour or design, creating something completely unique. The versatility of glass means that it can be shaped around any obstacle, including cooker hoods and shelving. At DIY Splashbacks we can create bespoke glass products in any size, shape, colour, pattern or image. It's even possible for clients to provide their own image, and we can digitally print on to it. Whatever your inspiration is, we can make it. Visit our website to discover more. © glasssplashbacks.com
