Le style country s'accorde parfaitement à cette maison de campagne et s'adapte tout à fait aux attentes des clients. Les façades laquées satinées bleu foncé mettent en avant le style country. Elles évoquent un confort intemporel, chaleureux appuyé par le matériau bois et les poignées en laiton. Le style country est mis en en avant avec une étagère ouverte qui met en scène des récipients à provisions, des assiettes et des étagères bleues aux supports arqués. Le plan de travail en quartz et les sur meubles bleus avec des portes vitrées accentue le style country et se fonde harmonieusement dans cette atmosphère naturelle de campagne. The entire back of the house accommodates a kitchen that pays homage to great European country kitchens. Kitchen countertops are Bianco Carrara honed marble, antique reclaimed terra cotta tile flooring, and a glazed hexagonal oxford gray backsplash. The perimeter countertops are 3cm Bianco Carrara honed marble with an ogee edge and the island features 5cm Bianco Carrara honed marble with a simpler flat polished edge. The 4” backsplash extends around the entire perimeter expect behind the stove which is a full height Bianco Carrara splash.

The kitchen was a full remodel, along with much of the first floor. The biggest challenge in the designing the space was coordinating all of the materials to work within the kitchen as well as within the rest of the house. The home was renovated to be more of an open concept plan, so the kitchen was open to the dining room and living room. Top three notable/custom/unique features. Three notable features include the brick tile floor, custom wood countertop on the island and professional cooking appliances. The stainless steel farm sink and glass doors on the raised bar top add more detail throughout the space. The project also included a mudroom and pantry area, complete with the same cabinets as shown in the kitchen.

The walnut counter tops are the star in this farmhouse inspired kitchen. This hundred year old house deserved a kitchen that would be true to its history yet modern and beautiful. We went with country inspired features like the banquette, copper pendant, and apron sink. The cabinet hardware and faucet are a soft bronze finish. The cabinets a warm white and walls a lovely natural green. We added plenty of storage with the addition of the bar with cabinets and floating shelves. The banquette features storage along with custom cushions.
