Why choose engineered European oak flooring? It's not just flooring; it's an investment in lasting beauty and functionality. This stunning development chose from the Provincial Oak range by MarcKenzo Designer Flooring to complete their modern look.

Southwest meets the Northwest. This client wanted a real rustic southwest style. The perimeter is rustic rough sawn knotty alder and the Island is hand painted rustic pine. The wide plank wood top is the center piece to this kitchen. Lots of colorful Mexican tile give depth to the earth tones. All the cabinets are custom made by KC Fine Cabinetry.

Our first steampunk kitchen, this vibrant and meticulously detailed space channels Victorian style with future-forward technology. It features Vermont soapstone counters with integral farmhouse sink, arabesque tile with tin ceiling backsplash accents, pulley pendant light, induction range, coffee bar, baking center, and custom cabinetry throughout.

Conveniently located near the family room the kitchen is no longer closed off. Previously the peninsula prevented easy access, this layout is much more family friendly.
Breathe Design Studio
Our Austin studio decided to go bold with this project by ensuring that each space had a unique identity in the Mid-Century Modern style bathroom, butler's pantry, and mudroom. We covered the bathroom walls and flooring with stylish beige and yellow tile that was cleverly installed to look like two different patterns. The mint cabinet and pink vanity reflect the mid-century color palette. The stylish knobs and fittings add an extra splash of fun to the bathroom.
The butler's pantry is located right behind the kitchen and serves multiple functions like storage, a study area, and a bar. We went with a moody blue color for the cabinets and included a raw wood open shelf to give depth and warmth to the space. We went with some gorgeous artistic tiles that create a bold, intriguing look in the space.
In the mudroom, we used siding materials to create a shiplap effect to create warmth and texture – a homage to the classic Mid-Century Modern design. We used the same blue from the butler's pantry to create a cohesive effect. The large mint cabinets add a lighter touch to the space.

Mike Kaskel Retirement home designed for extended family! I loved this couple! They decided to build their retirement dream home before retirement so that they could enjoy entertaining their grown children and their newly started families. A bar area with 2 beer taps, space for air hockey, a large balcony, a first floor kitchen with a large island opening to a fabulous pool and the ocean are just a few things designed with the kids in mind. The color palette is casual beach with pops of aqua and turquoise that add to the relaxed feel of the home.
Meiste Homes
White subway tiles and coastal colored cabinetry give a light airy feel to a kitchen that inspires everyone to get in on the meal prep. White Oak floors, shelving and furnishing complete the picture.
Wood Wise Design & Remodeling
The homeowners, who were expecting their first child, were interested in expanding their current 2 bedroom/2 bathroom house for their growing family. They also wanted to retain the character of their 1940 era inside-the-beltline home. Wood Wise designer Kathy Walker worked with the clients on several design options to meet their list of requirements. The final plan includes adding 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a new dining room, and sunroom. The existing kitchen and dining rooms were remodeled to create a new central kitchen with a large walk-in pantry with sink. The custom aqua color of the kitchen cabinets recalls period turquoise kitchens. The exterior of the home was updated with paint and a new standing-seam metal roof to complete the remodel.
Wood Wise provided all design. Kathy Walker designed the cabinet plan and assisted homeowners with all showroom selections.

What's your favorite part of this kitchen? It's hard for me to choose between the custom semi-handmade cabinet fronts, matte black hardware, open concept, faux-bois tile and crisp appliances! So much light!

This paradise in the pines needed a total refresh with new flooring, doors and windows throughout. Wolf appliances are surrounded by soft teal "Carolina Gull" custom color cabinets in the kitchen by Urban Effects Cabinetry in their Foxfire door style. The Blanco Ikon apron front sink in Cinder is complemented by a Newport Brass Vespera faucet. Caesarstone engineered quartz counters in "Georgian Bluffs" on the perimeter and portion of the island. The rest of the island and overhang features Ash wood by Grothouse Lumber out of Germansville PA. A random blend mosaic backsplash tile blends beautifully with the walls, cabinets, wood top and flooring. Photography by Dave Clark with Monterey Virtual Tours.
