The peninsula was enlarged to accommodate seating on the end and extends over a wine cooler next to the sliding door. The selection of the countertop color will impact the total design. Slabs of quartzite granite, with a beautiful veining of dark gray and blue-green, was selected for the countertops. The back splash was designed using tile in a hand-made subway shape The 3 colors of gray and blue-green are laid in a loose pattern. These colors envelope the space and pull the room together. The tile feature below the hood is a classic Moroccan pattern with a dark pewter frame. Three shades of gray/green paint are used; the lightest shade is on the ceiling. This kitchen designed and installed in Kent, is very luxurious and sumptuous. The black and grey cabinets are finished in Fenix - a beautiful super matt nano-technology material, very hard wearing and any scratches can be removed by ironing the doors! It’s amazing and so easy to keep clean and smudge free (just a wipe over with a wet cloth!). A 3 metre long waterfall kitchen island in Ceasarstone, Home Connect Siemens appliances throughout and a Quooker hot water tap complete this contemporary modern kitchen which we are all a little bit in love with ❤️

Due to the shaker style this kitchen is still a classic and traditional looking space, with a contemporary twist. The choice of neutral colours and a pale pink splash back, make the space feel very warm and an inviting space to be in.

We worked closely with a local project management and interiors company to create this fantastic kitchen space. During the day it’s a spacious kitchen to cook eat and live but at night it’s a fabulous party kitchen with lighting a plenty! We used matt spray painted handless doors with quartz stone worktops. The drawers were fitted with Blum servo-drive systems that push open the drawers electronically when touched! Our clients were so happy with their new kitchen they were delighted to have it featured in Essential Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom magazine! Simon and Amanda Brown were so pleased with the transformation of their Bath townhouse they told EKBB about it who were also impressed. They wrote: "Simon and Amanda wanted a cool, clutter-free kitchen so they picked sleek white units and modern worktops to give a spacious look. This design was then accented with bright raspberry spaces, to give it some warmth. The kitchen was made by James Emerson and then finished with quartz worktops. The main focus of the new layout has to be the oval island with a seating area at one end, perfect for family and friends to gather and socialize."

This sleek and chic pastel blue kitchen project is a stylish German kitchen with a touch of raspberry. This project has been designed and built for a husband and wife in Fernhurst, West Sussex, who loves to entertain. The wife is also a professional baker, so she was very clear about the space she wanted to create. The renovation goal was a kitchen with enough space for creating baked goods and socialising. Additionally, it must have a clear boundary so that guests can circulate around the rest of the room without coming into the central cooking zone. To turn this idea to life, we built a long peninsula that provides plenty of workspace for baking and ample storage for all of the client's baking supplies. We used Nolte's Feel range in Platinum Grey for the cabinetry and incorporated a LeMans corner mechanism for the tambour and larder units to maximize storage space. The 560 metal tab pull handles finish off the look and completes the kitchen's sleek, modern aesthetic. The worktops are from Classic Quartz in Alaska Quartz, a marble-effect worksurface that complimented the grey Nolte doors. To add a pop of colour and liven up the room, we opted for a glass raspberry pink backsplash that blends seamlessly with the sleek and chic theme of the space. This contemporary kitchen was also designed with tea and coffee lovers in mind. We built a tea and coffee station using our Matrix 900 cabinetry, which is the perfect height for making coffee. Floating shelves are included for additional storage of tea and coffee supplies. Appliances from AEG, Neff, and Elica provide the much-needed functionality to the space, while Franke sinks and taps add the finishing touches. Overall, this modern kitchen is light and airy with a touch of pink for a bit of fun and personality.

However, there are now lots of pull out compartments and drawers with trays and shelving that can act as mini kitchen pantries, and you can install handy cupboard organisers that fit onto the inside of the door to make the most of your cupboard space. You can also look at corner drawers and cupboards that open up to reveal lots of extra storage. Rails or small shelves along your kitchen walls or splashback can help with hanging utensils or pans, or storing small items like herbs and spices in an usually empty space.
