Welcome to upscale farm life! This 3 storey Timberframe Post and Beam home is full of natural light (with over 20 skylights letting in the sun!). Features such as bronze hardware, slate tiles and cedar siding ensure a cozy "home" ambience throughout. No chores to do here, with the natural landscaping, just sit back and relax!

Removing a wall between a small kitchen and dining room allowed for a large kitchen renovation. The slate floor, mosaic tile, granite countertops and LED lighting all make this room glow. The new layout, including a peninsula and custom cabinets, increase the room’s functionality and use of space. The homeowner’s custom glass art chandelier and pendants were the inspiration for the color scheme.

I designed this new custom kitchen contrasting the darker wood cabinets with the lighter sand finish walls and granite counter tops. We incorporated a heated floor to warm up the indian multi color slate floors. I found 2 fabulous antique iron panels I incorporated into the lard center island. The 1/2 timbering on the ceiling draws your eye down to the rest of the room. We used simple valance window treatments to not hinder the fabulous view.

In the chef’s grade kitchen, a custom hand painted back splash created a graphically subtle backdrop that balanced the light and dark finishes in the room. Caesar Stone countertops were specified along with professional series Sub Zero and Viking stainless steel appliances.

Frameless, bright white Shaker cabinets reflect tons of light into this transitional-modern kitchen. The solid taupe quartz countertops provide a clean, neutral surface that lets the multi-toned, marble backsplash capture the attention.

Our design concept for this new construction was to work closely with the architect and harmonize the architectural elements with the interior design. The goal was to give our client a simple arts & crafts influenced interior, while working with environmentally friendly products and materials.

It was a real pleasure to install this solid ash kitchen in this incredible living space. Not only do the wooden beams create a natural symmetry to the room but they also provide a rustic country feel.
We used solid ash kitchen doors from our Mornington range painted in Dove grey. Firstly, we felt this was the perfect colour to let the natural wooden features shine through. Secondly, it created a more open feel to the whole living space.
Oak worktops and bespoke shelving above the range cooker blend seamlessly with the exposed wooden beams. They bring the whole living space together in a seamless way and create a truly unique kitchen.
