Working together to rebuild a home with traditional style and strong design details took months of planning and preparation, but the finished product was well worth it! This renovation features a completely new kitchen, 3 remodelled bathrooms, a fresh laundry area and new paint and flooring throughout.

This open floor plan design leads your eye straight back to the floor to ceiling windows and fireplace finished in white brick and a natural wood mantel. The sliding glass doors in the dining room lead right onto their full width back deck. Plenty of natural light through large windows and a skylight. Large kitchen equipped with an eat up counter that has a waterfall wood countertop, an island with a farmhouse sink and butcherblock countertop, and a butler pantry off the fridge.

This beautiful Mid-Century was in desperate need of updating in both form and function. Keeping the original ceilings (which had a slope we needed to mind) helped keep the 50's style. The two tone made it so that the kitchen was broken up instead of being one very long white kitchen. Adding the windows on the exterior wall completely brightened up the space too.

The homeowners wish-list when searching for properties in the Geneva Lake area included: low-maintenance, incredible lake views, a pier but also a house that needed a lot of work because they were searching for a true project. After months of designing and planning, a bright and open design of the great room was created to maximize the room’s incredible view of Geneva Lake. Nautical touches can be found throughout the home, including the rope detailing on the overhead light fixture, in the coffee table accessories and the child-sized replica wooden boat. The crisp, clean kitchen has thoughtful design details, like the vintage look faucet and a mosaic outline of Geneva Lake in the back splash.

A white quartz counter, painted white woodwork, white bead board ceiling, and white subway tile behind the range balance the black cabinetry and create a warm, bright space. Details such as crystal and brass hardware enhance the cozy vintage feel.

Our clients purchased this 1900s villa with traditional layout, high ceilings, sash windows and character floors.
They wanted to renovate the kitchen but keep the rustic traditional feel that made them fall in love with this house in the first place.
We went of a white on white look with gold accents.
