This kitchen originally had a long island that the owners needed to walk around to access the butler’s pantry, which was a major reason for the renovation. The island was separated in order to have a better traffic flow – with one island for cooking with a prep sink and the second offering seating and storage. 2″ thick mitered honed Stuario Gold marble countertops are accented by soft satin brass hardware, while the backsplash is a unique jet-cut white marble in an arabesque pattern. The perimeter inset cabinetry is painted a soft white. while the islands are a warm grey. The window wall features a 5-foot-long stone farm sink with two faucets, while a 60″ range and two full 30″ ovens are located on the opposite wall. A custom hood with elegant, gentle sloping lines is embellished with a hammered antique brass collar and antique pewter rivets.

THE SETUP Once these empty nest homeowners decided to stay put, they knew a new kitchen was in order. Passionate about cooking, entertaining, and hosting holiday gatherings, they found their existing kitchen inadequate. The space, with its traditional style and outdated layout, was far from ideal. They longed for an elegant, timeless kitchen that was not only show-stopping but also functional, seamlessly catering to both their daily routines and special occasions with friends and family. With Craftsman details throughout the rest of the home, our clients wanted their new kitchen to have transitional elements such as Shaker style doors, a farmhouse sink, warm wood tones, and other timeless features such as a custom hood and natural stone counters. Проект интересен: - организованной и согласованной перепланировкой, в которой уместилось большое количество встроенного хранения корпусами икеа(сецчас их можно заменить серией из хоф) . - Разместили колонну стиральной и сушильной машин в санузле. Сделали душевую зону из стеклоблоков. - Сохранили газовое обеспечение, при этом на кухне почти все его следы закрыли. - Одну комнату оформили под кабинет с перспективой, что там будет актуальна и детская. - В спальне разместили гардеробную и ещё одно рабочее место, тк ребята периодически работают удалённо. - Бюджет берегли, применялись правила разумной экономии. В интерьере использованы отреставрированная советская мебель и люстры , сохранена родная резная розетка на потолке. - Ну и главное: результат перепланировки- избавились от длинного коридора и получили развернутое и воздушное пространство и прекрасный вид при входе. Распашные двери на балкон открывают вид на двор с пышной березой. – в интерьере много винтажа, собственно и интерьер собирали с купленных хозяйкой винтажных люстр еще до проекта
