The extreme contrast of the almost black cabinetry and floor vs. the light and bright walls and shelves gives this kitchen a bright, clean, and crisp appeal. The floor is Marmoleum which is a nod to the linoleum that would have been used originally.

The combination of the wood and the white with the black accents provides a timeless, warm look.
The splash back tiles have been selected to add texture and interest, while remaining a subtle backdrop.
To ensure that the size of the kitchen complimented the rest of the house we actually removed a bathroom. We kept the Powder Room and updated Fixtures & Fittings. The galley style kitchen feels large and comfortable. Its openness and lightness make it a wonderful space to be in.

This might be a small kitchen but it has a big attitude. It boasts ample drawer storage in the base cabinets topped by a surprising amount of bench space.
The L-shape / Galley style makes the most of the 1.9x3.7m floor space. Despite it's size, theres room for two to work in the kitchen.
A combination of Meteca Woodgrain panels and Trendstone benches provide cost effective, durable finishes. Luna subway tiles, recycled Matai shelves on metal pipe brackets extend the textural themeof the overall design.
To keep the noise down when cooking, we installed a Sirius rangehood with an efficient but (almost) silent exterior mounted motor.

We decided on a retro look for our new kitchen with lots of display shelving, happy colors, laminate counters (no cracking!), a chubby old stove, period details and “linoleum” flooring.

I removed some walls and built up others to create an incredible space for this lucky client. Two offices (one looks out into the garage), conference room, server room, kitchen and bar area, as well as lounge area in the garage. Drywalling in the ceiling and painting it dark made a big difference. Epoxy floors in metallic blue and white in the seating area. Linoleum floors throughout the main spaces and wool carpet in the offices.

This 1901-built bungalow in the Longfellow neighborhood of South Minneapolis was ready for a new functional kitchen. The homeowners love Scandinavian design, so the new space melds the bungalow home with Scandinavian design influences.
A wall was removed between the existing kitchen and old breakfast nook for an expanded kitchen footprint.
Marmoleum modular tile floor was installed in a custom pattern, as well as new windows throughout. New Crystal Cabinetry natural alder cabinets pair nicely with the Cambria quartz countertops in the Torquay design, and the new simple stacked ceramic backsplash.
All new electrical and LED lighting throughout, along with windows on three walls create a wonderfully bright space.
Sleek, stainless steel appliances were installed, including a Bosch induction cooktop.
Storage components were included, like custom cabinet pull-outs, corner cabinet pull-out, spice racks, and floating shelves.
One of our favorite features is the movable island on wheels that can be placed in the center of the room for serving and prep, OR it can pocket next to the southwest window for a cozy eat-in space to enjoy coffee and tea.
Overall, the new space is simple, clean and cheerful. Minimal clean lines and natural materials are great in a Minnesotan home.

Green glass cabinet knobs paired with fresh looking subway tile on the back splash add a pop of color that balances with the fresh color of the table and niche. Chrome accent fixtures, a simple farm house sink, school house pendants, and bead board details finish off this bright and cheerful space.

Using white cabinets and wall paint makes this kitchen look larger than it is for a nice crisp look.
