Mon Concept HabitationDirection le nord de la France, à Marcq-en Baroeul. Ce projet a été conçu par l’architecte d’intérieur Sacha Guiset et réalisé par notre agence Lilloise.
Dans cette jolie maison rénovée partiellement, l’objectif était de donner un nouveau souffle au rez-de-chaussée en l’inscrivant dans l’air du temps et en apportant un maximum de lumière. La circulation de l’entrée, la pièce de vie et la cuisine ont été repensées dans leur globalité afin que chaque pièce ait une fonction bien précise.
Dans l’entrée, l’accès direct au séjour a été condamné et remplacé par une jolie fenêtre avec cadre en chêne qui donne sur le séjour et laisse passer la lumière. L’imposte qui se trouvait à proximité de la cuisine a été récupéré et utilisé pour créer une superbe porte verrière réalisée sur mesure par notre menuisier.
Sacha a pensé la cuisine comme un espace familial et agréable en L. L’îlot central avec plaque et hotte intégrée permet de fluidifier la circulation et de cuisiner tout en gardant un œil sur le séjour. Quant au coin repas réalisé dans le prolongement de l’îlot il apporte un côté convivial et pratique à la pièce.
On aime l’association des modules IKEA et façades en MDF plaqué chêne, du plan de travail en quartz silestone et de la crédence effet zellige rouge terreux qui vient réchauffer l’ensemble. Sans oublier l’attention accordée au détail des poignées de placards en demi-lunes noires, qui font échos aux cadres des fenêtres, aux chaises en bois et aux appliques Zangra.
Dans le séjour, Sacha a remplacé l’initial poêle à bois par un insert d’angle axé sur le salon, intégré à une banquette basse réalisée sur mesure pour ajouter du rangement. Côté déco, Sacha a opté pour des objets et coussins aux teintes terreuses qui contrastent avec le blanc et apportent de la chaleur à l’intérieur.

WC Design CenterThis Kitchen went from closed off and dated to an open, clean-lined, functional space the whole family can enjoy! Custom cabinets in a dove white perimeter finish and white oak light stain for the island. Quartzite slab countertops provide a timeless one-of-a-kind and easy to care for look. The island is huge so the whole family can gather around and cook together. The backsplash tile elevates the entire space and this kitchen is ready for years of family memories!
UserThis kitchen was a joint project with James Curran of Curran Interiors. It was awarded the 1st place prize for small kitchens in the 2011 ASID Southern Arizona Design Excellence Awards, and was published in Tucson Lifestyle Home and Garden Magazine of Febuary 2011.
This kitchen features natural maple, wide stile shaker doors with slab drawer fronts. The main focal point is the dramatic use of the multicolored, metallic mosaic tiles, which coordinate beautifully with the Blue Pearl slab granite countertop. The stainless steel apron front sink, the brushed nickel cabinet pulls, and the simplicity of the door style makes this kitchen lean toward the modern to transitional style.
The original kitchen was a U-shape with 2 peninsulas. In order to open the space up, the peninsula between the dining area and the kitchen was eliminated.

Sheri Haby ArchitectsThe design honours the unpretentious bones of the post-war house with a natural materials palette. Birch ply cabinetry with a hardwax oil finish has been used to create warmth, while predominantly white surfaces enhance the feeling of spaciousness. Splash back areas feature Japanese tiles. The polished concrete floor slab acts as highly desirable thermal mass, absorbing warmth from direct sunlight and releasing it at night.

with the a waterfall edge that is complimented by a Treasure "Find" mosaic tile back splash. This galley kitchen is a unique modern space has stainless steel appliances including the range hood. The counter was extended to provide a space for seating which completes the remodel.

Meridian ConstructionThis Ambler, PA Kitchen remodel was a part of a whole-house renovation by Meridian Construction. The custom dual-tone cabinetry is a beautiful feature that brings out the richness of the maple wood, while the subtle color choices keep this space simple, clean, and current. The arched window over the sink, along with the new sliding doors gives this space a ton of natural light. A secondary prep sink with large contemporary faucet at the island makes for a perfect spot to start tonight’s dinner. Design and Construction by Meridian.
