Vous ne verrez aucune poignée dans cette cuisine élégante équipée d’un système Push & Pull, invisible mais tellement pratique ! L’électroménager n’est pas caché, bien au contraire ! Sa mise en scène a été pensée dès la conception. Ainsi, la cave à vin, le frigo américain, le four et le four à micro-ondes ont chacun leur place attitrée. L’îlot central fait le lien entre les deux blocs de la cuisine. Quant au plan de travail, il se transforme en espace repas pour 5 à 6 personnes. Un îlot central s’élève au centre de cette cuisine celui-ci fait office de coin repas conviviale mais aussi d’espace de travail, un bloc prise escamotable est placé au milieu du plan de travail pour l’utilisation de petit électroménager. L’aménagement qui fait face à l’espace vaisselle comprend trois meubles colonnes qui accueil des électroménager intégré : le réfrigérateur, et encastré : le four et micro-onde qui son placer à hauteur d’homme pour un accès facile. The villa kitchen provides the perfect setting. The large window over the sink looks out to a deck dining area. Stainless steel countertops are easy to care for. Warm and cool are combined by setting off the stainless steel faced cabinetry with a deep red wall, wood accents and red sisal rug. Open shelves for often-used dishware allow for convenience as well as a sense of rhythm and repetition, one of Jane's favorite motifs. The result is a kitchen that imbues the food -- and the kitchen conversation -- with lively energy.

This house is discreetly tucked into its wooded site in the Mad River Valley near the Sugarbush Resort in Vermont. The soaring roof lines complement the slope of the land and open up views though large windows to a meadow planted with native wildflowers. The house was built with natural materials of cedar shingles, fir beams and native stone walls. These materials are complemented with innovative touches including concrete floors, composite exterior wall panels and exposed steel beams. You can add a breakfast bar or counter to your existing kitchen units, or stick with a good old-fashioned dining table if you don’t need the extra work surfaces. There are a huge variety of island designs to cater to different needs – you can have sinks, ovens, hobs, wine storage and all sorts of drawers and organisers built-in, you can have separate bars and counters that extend from your island, or you could go for a kitchen island on wheels to make your kitchen layout more versatile.

How do I choose my kitchen units and cabinets?

It’s always best to overestimate how much kitchen storage you’ll need as we all tend to have a habit of filling up whatever current space we have to the maximum. Shaker style cabinets and raised and recessed panel cabinets offer a more traditional kitchen cabinet look, while flat panel cabinet doors tend to lend more to the modern and contemporary style. However, going for raised or recessed panel work in a striking colour such as dark blue, green or black can still work with contemporary kitchen ideas. White kitchens can give a sleek and clean feel, but remember you may have to do a bit more cleaning of those cupboard doors if you want everything to stay shiny and fresh.
