This back panel was actually done by another contractor. Which makes some parts easier and some harder. What it meant for us is that we had to color match. Color matching isn't necessarily hard to do, but when your painted item is going right next to the item you are matching, you have to nail it or you will see the difference.

The window provides natural light that bounces off the stainless steel tap, vase, and other accessories. It also adds a welcoming contrast to the System Six Copse Green Shaker Doors!

This is where our finishing skills shine (quite literally). A small defect in the paint usually won't show up, except in this type of scenario. We have a ceiling light shining directly on to the upper cabinet doors. From pretty much every angle in the kitchen you can see the direct light. This will show any defect in the finishing process. And once you see it, you can't unsee it. So if you cheap out on finishing you will see it here. We aren't the cheapest, but our work is quality.

The goal was to have an open space with a modern approach to French country. A really cool detail is that the customer wanted an integrated hood above the oven. So we made that cabinet above the oven to accept a specific appliance hood. Then we custom made the arched piece below the cabinet out of a solid piece of oak so that the hood would be concealed.
