This 35 year old country home in North Langley, BC was completely outdated and felt crowded to the client. The kitchen was a mere 150 square feet, which didn't bode well with the fact that the owners love to cook! Versa transformed this space into a modern, spacious home with our client's dream kitchen at it's core. This year they are excited to host Christmas dinners on 256th Street! Renovations included: Removal of all walls in old kitchen to open up the space Installation of high-end appliances New paint throughout the house Installed gorgeous hardwood flooring Added recessed pot lights to ceilings

Sumptuous Calacatta Marble adds an unexpected note of elegance to this rustic kitchen. The clean lines of the articulated flat edge countertop are a perfect counterpoint to the simplicity of rough-edged brick and hand-hewn wood beams. Photo by Schultz Studios

This kitchen features a variety of colours and textures into one space to create an ultra modern look. High-gloss white cabinetry is paired with deep espresso for the ultimate contrast. Aluminum framed frosted glass lift-up doors and the stainless steel farm sink add a cool contrast to the warm teak butcher block at the end of the island. The painted glass backsplash was custom matched to the red signature Wolf range knobs for a focal point in the space. All cabinetry and quartz countertops were designed and installed by Casey's Creative Kitchens and Casey's Granite and Quartz Division.

The wall between the kitchen and little used formal dining room was removed to allow the kitchen to expand to allow more counterspace, double ovens, snack bar and beverage bar. The doorway to the family room was widened to provide a completely open and inviting complex of rooms perfect for family and friends to gather. The island features Waypoint 720 cherry spice cabinets and Alaksa White granite tops. The perimeter cabinets are Waypoint 720 maple linen paint with Caesarstone Woodlands quartz tops. The wood chimney hood matches the island cabinets to provide a striking focal point. Continuing the oak flooring from the family room through the kitchen ties the rooms together and provides a warm feel. An engineered wood beam was installed where the dining wall was removed and widened to provide room to run ductwork for second floor heating and to duct the range hood. Lighting includes a combination of LED recessed can lights, LED undercabinet lights and puck lights in the display cabinets.
