In this remodel we painted the existing perimeter cabinets a soft sea salt color and built a new island that included a cozy banquette that faces the gorgeous view of the Flatirons.
Svelte Kitchens
This kitchen was a perfect blend of modern and traditional. Shaker doors contrasting with modern fixtures gave the space the timeless elegance the client wanted.
Plain & Posh
These homeowners were ready to update the home they had built when their girls were young. This was not a full gut remodel. The perimeter cabinetry mostly stayed but got new doors and height added at the top. The island and tall wood stained cabinet to the left of the sink are new and custom built and I hand-drew the design of the new range hood. The beautiful reeded detail came from our idea to add this special element to the new island and cabinetry. Bringing it over to the hood just tied everything together. We were so in love with this stunning Quartzite we chose for the countertops we wanted to feature it further in a custom apron-front sink. We were in love with the look of Zellige tile and it seemed like the perfect space to use it in.
Everything Home
Our studio reimagined this kitchen to make it suitable for entertaining family and friends. We altered the layout to an open-concept floor plan and changed the yellowish paint to a beautiful white, creating a bright, airy vibe. The elegant dark wood floors were retained, and complementary design elements were added to make the flooring pop. The stunning countertops perform a dual function as backsplash tiles, creating a harmonious ambiance in the space. We added gorgeous chairs and stylish pendants with a gold finish that adds a glamorous touch.
We carved a beautiful home bar in the space with open concept shelving and charcoal black lower cabinets for storage. The star feature in this area is the backsplash tile in geometric patterns, which add a sophisticated, luxe element.

A tiny kitchen that was redone with what we all wish for storage, storage and more storage.
The design dilemma was how to incorporate the existing flooring and wallpaper the client wanted to preserve.
The kitchen is a combo of both traditional and transitional element thus becoming a neat eclectic kitchen.
The wood finish cabinets are natural Alder wood with a clear finish while the main portion of the kitchen is a fantastic olive-green finish.
for a cleaner look the countertop quartz has been used for the backsplash as well.
This way no busy grout lines are present to make the kitchen feel heavier and busy.

Classic elegance with a fresh face characterizes this stunner, adorned in Benjamin Moore’s pale green “Vale Mist”. For a serene, cohesive look, the beadboard and casings are painted to match. Counters and backsplashes are subtly-veined Himalayan Marble. Flat panel inset cabinetry was enhanced with a delicate ogee profile and graceful bracket feet. Oak floors were artfully stenciled to form a diamond pattern with intersecting dots. Brushed brass fixtures and hardware lend old-world appeal with a stylish flourish. Balancing the formality are casual rattan bistro stools and dining chairs. A metal-rimmed glass tabletop allows full view of the curvaceous walnut pedestal.
Tucked into the narrow end of the kitchen is a cozy desk. Its walnut top warms the space, while mullion glass doors contribute openness. Preventing claustrophobia is a frosted wheel-style oculus window to boost light and depth.
A bold statement is made for the small hutch, where a neutral animal print wallpaper is paired with Benjamin Moore’s ruby-red semi-gloss “My Valentine” paint on cabinetry and trim. Glass doors display serving pieces. Juxtaposed against the saturated hue is the pop of a white marble counter and contemporary acrylic handles. What could have been a drab niche is now a jewel box!

We feel this is a great example of a beautiful kitchen remodel that did not require down-to-the-studs renovation. The changes to the cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, lighting and hardware completely transformed the look of the room. It’s now a relaxing space our clients love to use and look at from other rooms.Beautiful new cabinetry made the biggest impact on updating the kitchen. The new cabinet doors and drawer fronts are flat panel with beaded Shaker style. Brass hardware and lighting adds warmth to the space. The beautiful new blue backsplash added a relaxing touch to the room. And the custom vent hood and quartzite countertops are also stunners.
We were also able to keep elements that the homeowners loved, including their new refinished hardwood floors and wood wrapped kitchen island. Treating this renovation as a refacing saved our clients a lot of money. It was also more sustainable than a full remodel because refacing limited the amount of construction waste generated from the project.
