As with all Broadway Kitchen commissions, the layout and the cabinetry has been designed to make the best use of the space. This simply wouldn't be possible with mass produced, 'off the shelf' furniture.

The overall scheme for this kitchen was 50’s inspired with open chamfered cantilevered shelves to display the families large collection of ceramics and decorative glass.
The centre piece is the island that was a piece of salvage from a French decorator’s workshop – we decorated it and added an oaked slated vegetable rack below and introduced a seating area.

Island as a kitchen table - philomenahannon
We designed and installed the kitchen in the new extension at our clients' home in Dorridge, Solihull. They chose a white and grey colour scheme in our Futura handleless collection. Paired with handleless Miele appliances and white Corian worktops to create a light and airy space which is great for cooking and entertaining.

The previous layout with a breakfast bar just didn't work and made the space look narrow. By opening up the entrance into the kitchen and painting the far back wall a dark blue, the space has opened out and extended. Architectural tiles as splash back adds interest to the space. A combination of matt charcoal grey and textured wood cabinets were used to give a contemporary feel.
