This nursery was a low-budget, DIY job. The idea was to create a space that both baby and momma could be comfortable in, and enjoy spending a lot of hours in (particularly in the first few months!). The theme started as "sophisticated gender neutral with subtle elements of whimsy and nature" - and I think we achieved that! The space was only 8' x 10', so storage solutions were key. The closet drawers and side table were both (very worn) antique pieces that were given a new life!

This contemporary, modern multipurpose kids' room is at Deja View, a Caribbean vacation rental villa in St. John USVI. It provides over 700 sq. ft of entertainment and bunk sleeping for kids and adults. The room stays nice and cool with a dedicated Mitsubishi split AC system. Kids are sure to be entertained with the 75 inch TV and colorful pool table. Seven can sleep comfortable on the five Twin XL and one King beds. Blue led motion sensor lights illuminate every step on the two sets of stairs so kids can safely head to the bathroom at night. The 34' long, 11' tall custom bunks were built in Texas, trucked to Florida and shipped to St. John. A growing young family with two daughters, this couple hired Brandi to complete their home’s interior decor. She loved working with these fantastic clients – they eagerly embraced a playful use of color and bold design choices! Finished in a colorful traditional style, this home is full of timeless architecture mixed with modern details. From a navy and bright orange office to a green floral dining room, each room on the main floor makes a unique statement but flows together through similar artwork and rugs. Upstairs, the master bedroom is a serene sanctuary. Brandi added wood beams, handmade wall coverings, and an extra custom-built closet. The two girls’ bedrooms are all about fun trends, personalized touches, and plenty of storage for their many prized possessions.
