Designing this light-filled nursery for my first child was a dream come true and every detail speaks to the hopes I have for him and the life I want to give him- filled with possibilities, space to find his true self, and the pure joyfulness of childhood.

Bedroom update for a 6 year old boy who loves to read, draw, and play cars. Our clients wanted to create a fun space for their son and stay within a tight budget.

A bold, beautiful wallpaper of oversized flower silhouettes adds just the right interest and balance to this pretty teen bedroom. The cool range of blues and mix of patterns throughout the room harmonize with the dramatic pop of coral. Photo by Jeri Koegel.
Ariana Hoffman: AH & Co. Decorative Artisans
The artisans of AH & Co. out of Montclair, NJ.renovated this tween girl's bedroom starting with the inspiration of the comforter and purple carpeting. From there the client and I created the concept which included faux painting the crown molding with silver metallic paint, the walls were coated in a multi-layer high gloss white paint, the ceiling a coordinating lavender and all of the doors were finally highlighted with a silver detail line in the bevel and bedazzled with large rhinestones.

This playroom features flexible seating for gaming, watching TV or sleeping since the couch is a daybed with a trundle and the bean bag chairs are easy to move around the room. The custom slat wall and clear acrylic shelves creates a contemporary wall treatment for toys, books and fun accents without being intrusive to the space. The expandable table is perfect for building Legos or playing board games. Navy blue with a pop of orange is a fun color scheme that will will last as the kids grow up.
Doheny Interiors
Teenage boys bedroom. Reconfigured to allow for better flow and a space for a desk. This was achieved by relocating the wardrobe to behind the door on the shortest wall in the room. It is now bright, spacious and comfortable for a teenager.

The "Wild Jungle Nursery" was a project we completed for a soon to be transitioning toddler. Our client chose a theme that their son could grow into and could also be educational. By using the wild jungle theme, we created fun decor that was interactive and soothing. We changed the original wall color, lighting, and used some existing furniture to make the transition easier. The nursery is one that can easily be changed to a big boy room, coming soon!

Renter friendly decor ideas for a shared kids bedroom. I used 'Swan Dance' pale green by Valspar to cleverly zone the room into two part, one for my daughter, one for my son.
