Winnie the Pooh inspired wallpaper makes a great backdrop for this light and airy, shared bedroom in Clapham Common. Accessorised with subtle accents of pastel blues and pinks that run throughout the room, the entire scheme is a perfect blend of clashing patterns and ageless tradition.
Vintage chest of drawers was paired with an unassuming combination of clashing metallics and simple white bed frames. Bespoke blind and curtains add visual interest and combine an unusual mixture of stripes and dots. Complemented by Quentin Blake’s original drawings and Winnie The Pooh framed artwork, this beautifully appointed room is elegant yet far from dull, making this a perfect children’s bedroom.
Haven Design and Construction
In this the sweet nursery, the designer specified a blue gray paneled wall as the focal point behind the white and acrylic crib. A comfortable cotton and linen glider and ottoman provide the perfect spot to rock baby to sleep. A dresser with a changing table topper provides additional function, while adorable car artwork, a woven mirror, and a sheepskin rug add finishing touches and additional texture.

This room for three growing boys now gives each of them a private area of their own for sleeping, studying, and displaying their prized possessions. By arranging the beds this way, we were also able to gain a second (much needed) closet/ wardrobe space. Painting the floors gave the idea of a fun rug being there, but without shifting around and getting destroyed by the boys.

My Bespoke Room
Our designer Tracey has created a brilliant bedroom for her teenage boy. We love the geometric panelling framed by perfectly positioned curtains that hide the mountain loads of storage needed in this space.
We also have to admire the little personal touches like the JJ ornaments and the lightning neon sign. ⚡️

A playful and fun challenge to design the bedrooms for two adventurous young boys.
The brief was to create timeless and transitional spaces which complimented the boys’ personalities - where they could play and do their homework - but also aligned with the parents’ own sense of style. In both rooms, we incorporated plenty of storage space with the addition of shelves and a playful peg storage system to display their favourite toys, medals and trophies.
