Jazzy coastal mixed native garden in Chatham, Massachusetts
Photography and plant design by owner and designer Chris Kolb. Chris repeated the Eastern Red Cedar design for this Chatham beach side second home. He also repeated the use of chartreuse plants at the foot of each cedar to create a rhythm. The client is a jazz saxophonist. The mixed foundation garden is in shade while the roadside border is in direct sun. Chris chose suitable native plants for each part of the design.
