New Zealand Certified Builders AssociationSleek cabinetry and the blackened Japanese steel benchtops are features of the recessed kitchen alcove, which is dominated by the structural element above. This gives the home its strength and industrial aspect. The huge steel beams hold the place together in more ways than one, and open up the mezzanine to the world. Aesthetically compelling as it is, the home is suitably functional too, with intelligent use of windows and skylights in the upstairs bedrooms to allow the Canterbury sun in.
Chrysalide ArchitectureCe meuble a été réalisé pour faire office de meuble d'entrée et meuble tv. Des étagères ouvertes sont installées en partie haute pour déposer les affaires du quotidien à son arrivée, et des portes avec étagères en partie basse pour créer du rangement pour les affaires inesthétiques ( chaussures, sacs, sacs de course ..).
Nous créons une continuité entre l'entrée et le séjour en reprenant le code couleur et en faisant un seul élément. Un décroché délimite les deux espaces. Le meuble tv est composé de 4 tiroirs , 2 à l'anglaise et 2 avec une étagère intérieure. Une grande étagère vient créer de la légèreté au meuble. Les étagères bois qui dépassent de la colonne permettent d'exposer de la décoration.
Ce meuble devait proposer du rangement tout en laissant apparaitre les plaques de pierre véritable qui recouvrent le mur.

Main Street RenovationsWe had plenty of room in the house when we bought it, but not enough storage. The attic space was limited and there is no basement. The single garage was full of equipment and a riding lawn mower. We decided to add a two car garage with some extra storage above. We decided to add a family room while we were at it! We haven't bought furniture for the loft yet. Since it is the only room with carpeting, it has been a perfect space when our son has sleepovers; just add pillows, sleeping bags and blankets.
