Built-in bookshelves with over-mounted lights give a clean, timeless look to a room that plays the role of library, study/home office, and occasional guest bedroom.
Boyce Design + Build
The private home office was designed with the homeowner’s love for the outdoors in mind and incorporates a mix of modern and rustic elements. Dark blue walls and brown leather arm chairs create a masculine, moody vibe while the natural beauty of the rough sawn cedar ceiling and pops of greenery give the office a warm and cozy feeling.

Painted in ‘sorrel’ this superb example of a large bespoke bookcase complements this spacious lounge perfectly.
This is a stunning fitted bookcase that not only looks great but fits the client’s initial vision by incorporating a small study area that can be neatly hidden away when not in use. Storage for books, pictures, trinkets and keepsakes has been carefully considered and designed sympathetically to the interior decor.

Coronado, CA
The Alameda Residence is situated on a relatively large, yet unusually shaped lot for the beachside community of Coronado, California. The orientation of the “L” shaped main home and linear shaped guest house and covered patio create a large, open courtyard central to the plan. The majority of the spaces in the home are designed to engage the courtyard, lending a sense of openness and light to the home. The aesthetics take inspiration from the simple, clean lines of a traditional “A-frame” barn, intermixed with sleek, minimal detailing that gives the home a contemporary flair. The interior and exterior materials and colors reflect the bright, vibrant hues and textures of the seaside locale.
