Located in high Rocky Mountains in Eagle, Colorado. This was a DIY project that consisted of designing and renovating our 2nd floor bonus room into a home office that has the industrial look. I built this custom L-shaped iron pipe desk using antique lockers baskets and crates as the drawers. The ceiling is reclaimed (Colorado) pine beetle wood, the floor is the Reclaimed Series, Heathered Oak color by Quickstep flooring.

This well-appointed office not only provides necessary storage, but can also transform into a lovely guest bedroom.

Recessed cans and spotlights, which mimic natural light, provide great lighting for the studio. Other complements include a farm-size sink, spacious cabinets for supplies, flat files and cubbies for smaller items and the pièce de résistance is the custom-made, over-sized art table, reminiscent of a drafting table.

The study on the raised platform is furnished with a built-in desk and floating shelving, above, with hidden LED lighting and a back-painted glass back surface. The small platform has enough space for a comfortable chaise and Ottoman for reading, while the new open railing allows for elevated views of the rest of the loft space and the street beyond.
