This office is full of personality. The rich blue color of the ceiling and walls set off white paneling and built in cabinets. Modern floating shelves add interest and contrast to the white walls. A rustic farmhouse flare comes out in the wood dry stack 15' fireplace and cowhide chair. Multiple sources of light provide the perfect office environment with the industrial style chandelier, Led recessed lights and shelving spotlights. A plain, Victorian living space with no fireplace was transformed by widening the existing hall doorway and creating a second, double doorway into the rear living area. The new double doors, bookcases and panelling were all designed and drawn to scale by Inspired Interiors, in order to create the 'French Apartment' feel that the client desired. The damaged cornice was replaced with a copy of the original cornice in the large reception room across the hallway. The fireplace was sourced by the client and integrated into the scheme.

Bedwardine Road is our epic renovation and extension of a vast Victorian villa in Crystal Palace, south-east London. Traditional architectural details such as flat brick arches and a denticulated brickwork entablature on the rear elevation counterbalance a kitchen that feels like a New York loft, complete with a polished concrete floor, underfloor heating and floor to ceiling Crittall windows. Interiors details include as a hidden “jib” door that provides access to a dressing room and theatre lights in the master bathroom.

Remember that library areas can be slotted in all around the home – under the stairs, in a corner of your living room or kitchen, as a mezzanine or in a small spare room.
