Последний расположен в бывшем дверном проёме с армированной кирпичной кладкой, который ведёт на парадную лестницу. Пол вокруг мраморного камина украшен встроенной в паркет старинной чугунной плиткой которой в 19 веке отделывались полы мануфактур и фабрик. Камин отделан бразильским мрамором с красивым завораживающим узором. Настоящая честерсфилдская мебель из натуральной кожи - напоминает о бывшем Английском посольстве. Стену над диваном украшает оригинальная историческая карта Италии 19 века, привезённая а Апенинского полуострова. На потолке сохранена историческая лепнина, которая перекрашена в черный матовый цвет. В мебель встроена акустика домашнего кинотеатра, экран опускается с верхней части шкафа. Задняя часть стеллажа дополнительно подсвечена чтобы подчеркнуть рельеф кирпича.

Custom cabinets for a home office made of gorgeous local Mesquite wood. This is a custom home that was designed and built by a super Tucson team. We remember walking on the dirt lot thinking of what would one day grow from the Tucson desert. We could not have been happier with the result. This home has a Southwest feel with a masculine transitional look. We used many regional materials and our custom millwork was mesquite. The home is warm, inviting, and relaxing. The interior furnishings are understated so as to not take away from the breathtaking desert views. The floors are stained and scored concrete and walls are a mixture of plaster and masonry. Libraries are peaceful and quiet places, and with careful consideration you can recreate this in an area of your home. Books are obviously going to feature heavily in your home library design, and you’ll need a place to store them. A bookcase or nice shelving can create room dividers if you don’t have a whole room to dedicate to a home library, and the benefit of bookcases is that they are movable – you don’t have to stick with one layout it it’s not working. If you don’t want to take up space, shelves hung on the walls will work just as well, and if you really want that authentic library feel then you’ll have to go with built in bookshelves that stretch from floor to ceiling. Next all you need is a comfy chair in amongst the books or a desk if you plan to do work or study from your library. Remember that library areas can be slotted in all around the home – under the stairs, in a corner of your living room or kitchen, as a mezzanine or in a small spare room.
