Denise Quade DesignA bar was built in to the side of this family room to showcase the homeowner's Bourbon collection. Reclaimed wood was used to add texture to the wall and the same wood was used to create the custom shelves. A bar sink and paneled beverage center provide the functionality the room needs. The paneling on the other walls are all original to the home.
Zone 4 Architects, LLCThe large family room splits duties as a sports lounge, media room, and wet bar. The double volume space was partly a result of the integration of the architecture into the hillside, local building codes, and also creates a very unique spacial relationship with the entry and lower levels. Enhanced sound proofing and pocketing sliding doors help to control the noise levels for adjacent bedrooms and living spaces.

123 Remodeling Inc.123 Remodeling redesigned the space of an unused built-in desk to create a custom coffee bar corner. Wanting some differentiation from the kitchen, we brought in some color with Ultracraft cabinets in Moon Bay finish from Studio41 and wood tone shelving above. The white princess dolomite stone was sourced from MGSI and the intention was to create a seamless look running from the counter up the wall to accentuate the height. We finished with a modern Franke sink, and a detailed Kohler faucet to match the sleekness of the Italian-made coffee machine.
