Design Challenge: MOTIV Interiors created this colorful yet relaxing retreat - a space for guests to unwind and recharge after a long day of exploring Nashville! Luxury, comfort, and functionality merge in this AirBNB project we completed in just 2 short weeks. Navigating a tight budget, we supplemented the homeowner’s existing personal items and local artwork with great finds from facebook marketplace, vintage + antique shops, and the local salvage yard. The result: a collected look that’s true to Nashville and vacation ready!

A Guest Bedroom redesign for this client who wanted a updated and invited space for their guests. The sage green walls were existing and the king bed was also existing. All new soft furnishing were added with new artwork, dresser and king headboard. Working with the sage green walls the colour scheme was white, blue and green accents and black punches of colour. Artwork was soothing and mirrored the surroundings of the house creating a calm and relaxing guest bedroom.

This client felt lost as far as design and selection. She'd already received my counsel regarding refinishing and the color of her kitchen cabinets. When she reached out to me again to assist with organizing her home and suggesting a few new pieces I was elated. A majority of the project consisted of relocating existing furniture and accessories as well as purging items that didn't work well with the design style. The guest room was transformed when we painted a lovely green color over the orange walls. The room that saw the most change was the dining room as it got all new furniture, a rug and wall color. I'm so thankful to know that this project is greatly loved. Photos by Barrett Woodward of Showcase Photographers

The room has 8 bunk bed sleeping compartment and two double "mosh pit" beds with a light, personal shelf and plug in each bed. The construction was done by the carpenters with a metal rail maid by our metal guy.

The bed faced this blank wall and the client didn't want to put a tv on the wall. So we improvised with some existing pieces and added this beautiful mirror.

Old historic structures rarely contained closets. The choice usually is to frame a space, sheetrock and place a typical door. A wardrobe that is removable can offer more flexibility better usage of material, maintain the airy space and esthetically fit the home. We've created furniture free standing wardrobes, semi built in wardrobes all for the purpose of answering thinned of the home without closet space, or too little closet space.
