Our clients approached us nearly two years ago seeking professional guidance amid the overwhelming selection process and challenges in visualizing the final outcome of their Kokomo, IN, new build construction. The final result is a warm, sophisticated sanctuary that effortlessly embodies comfort and elegance. In this bathroom, a large vanity with a matching expansive mirror sets a functional yet elegant tone. Wall sconces provide gentle illumination, enhancing the overall ambience. The designated shower area adds a touch of practical luxury. ... We collaborated with T.H.E. Remodel Group to define a space plan that opened up the existing hall bathroom and entered the neighboring bedroom. This space allowed us to double the size of the shower and added needed closet storage, two vanity sinks, custom cabinetry with storage and radiant heating. The client was fond of contemporary yet classic design, and we settled on classic Carrera marble for the countertops, with chrome accents. To give the bathroom a bit of contemporary punch we selected an unexpected Sombera yellow for the walls. To coordinate with the vanity, we chose for the master shower a gorgeous easy-care porcelain tile reminiscent of Carrera marble. This new generation tile is almost impossible to detect porcelain versus natural stone, but allows the homeowners to enjoy zero maintenance and easy clean up. A spa-inspired master bathroom that boasts refreshing neutrals, glamorous metallics, and a subtle wall mural. We gave the walk-in shower a herringbone tiled niche and relaxing shower bench for aesthetic and comfort. For the vanity, we decided to go with a simple design with open shelving and two large medicine cabinets. The metallic and textured sink gives the vanity a powerful statement, adding a bit of trend and a burst of personality. Project designed by Courtney Thomas Design in La Cañada. Serving Pasadena, Glendale, Monrovia, San Marino, Sierra Madre, South Pasadena, and Altadena.
