Finished early 2020, This building has been called "The Sunroom" by its new owners. Used extensively during the good weather of April and May where the owners were in lockdown. The planting is being added to all the time with the sunroom as their inspiration.

THE PROJECT: Working strictly within the guidelines set out for Grade I listed properties, Cue & Co of London’s refurbishment of this London home included the complete strip-out, refurbishment and underpinning of the building, along with significant internal structural works. All original floorboards, paneling and woodwork had to be retained and restored. The refurbishment also included a rear extension (pictured) and fit-out of two garden pavilions for guest and staff accommodations. HOME OFFICE: The home office is part of a large rear extension. The homeowner favours design classics, so Mattioli Giancarlo's Nesso table lamp for Artemide sits on the table, looking as good today as it did when it was first designed in 1967. www.cueandco.com

Shots of our iconic shed "Hanssel or Gretel". A play on words from the famous story, due to the families last name and this being a his or hers (#heshed #sheshed or #theyshed), but not a play on function. This dynamic homeowner crew uses the shed for their private offices, alongside e-learning, meeting, relaxing and to unwind. This 10'x10' are requires no permit and can be completed in less that 3 days (interior excluded). The exterior space is approximately 40'x40', still required no permitting and was done in conjunction with a landscape designer. Bringing the indoor to the outdoor for all to enjoy, or close the french doors and escape to zen! To see the video, go to: https://youtu.be/zMo01-SpaTs

The cedar shingle roof is partially hipped, to allow for small triangular transoms set into the cedar framing. A custom rectangular window projects out from the back wall. The ridge beam was milled from Utile, and African hardwood considered more sustainable than Mahogany. Glen Grayson, Architect

Welwyn Garden RoomsWelwyn Garden Rooms
This beautiful garden room compliments its surroundings by using a durable rain screen western red cedar cladding not only for its life span but its rich colours when treated. Subject to planning conditions under the Welwyn Estate Management Scheme the development required careful thoughts for the design and consideration for the for the neighbouring residents. The Oakdale project had to designed for home working, a place to relax and a useful storage unit. The garden room is equiped for home working during the day, with plenty of natural light, additional sockets and internet ports. The family room offers a nice space outside of the house to kick back and enjoy relaxing time in the cinema area. Finally, the family required storage space, concealed with a cedar door matching the facade lies a shed racked out with shelving for storage. This garden was transformed in 20man days. We also completed a full landscaping project prior to this at the same property which allowed us to run seperate cable ducts for electrical supply and CAT6 below ground without having to disturb any landscaping finishes. We cant wait to see this at a later stage in its full swing with furnishings
