This bathroom needed an update and while we were working on this, it turned out tat we needed to replace the window. We needed to have a solution to cover the window for privacy but still allow enough natural light to come in. We came up with the solution of using a switchable privacy window film by Smart Tint, which allows the window to be frosted or clear, by the flip of a switch. We also needed to have a creative solution to cover the radiator. We were able to incorporate a linen closet above the radiator that matches the vanity. By using porcelain tile and quartz countertop material, this is an easy maintenance bathroom, perfect for kids.
StarMark Cabinetry
The bath vanity was created with StarMark Cabinetry's Mackay inset door style in Maple finished in a cabinet color called Peppercorn. Accented with decorative legs.
Tangerine Designs Kitchens and Baths
Removing the tired, old angled shower in the middle of the room allowed us to open up the space. We added a toilet room, Double Vanity sinks and straightened the free standing tub.

Here we used 2 pewter finish sink cabinets as a contrast to the lighter wall and floor surfaces.

Everything Home
Our clients approached us nearly two years ago seeking professional guidance amid the overwhelming selection process and challenges in visualizing the final outcome of their Kokomo, IN, new build construction. The final result is a warm, sophisticated sanctuary that effortlessly embodies comfort and elegance.
In this bathroom, a large vanity with a matching expansive mirror sets a functional yet elegant tone. Wall sconces provide gentle illumination, enhancing the overall ambience. The designated shower area adds a touch of practical luxury.

Making Spaces
Kids bathrooms and curves.
Toddlers, wet tiles and corners don't mix, so I found ways to add as many soft curves as I could in this kiddies bathroom. The round ended bath was tiled in with fun kit-kat tiles, which echoes the rounded edges of the double vanity unit. Those large format, terrazzo effect porcelain tiles disguise a multitude of sins too.
A lot of clients ask for wall mounted taps for family bathrooms, well let’s face it, they look real nice. But I don’t think they’re particularly family friendly. The levers are higher and harder for small hands to reach and water from dripping fingers can splosh down the wall and onto the top of the vanity, making a right ole mess. Some of you might disagree, but this is what i’ve experienced and I don't rate. So for this bathroom, I went with a pretty bombproof all in one, moulded double sink with no nooks and crannies for water and grime to find their way to.
The double drawers house all of the bits and bobs needed by the sink and by keeping the floor space clear, there’s plenty of room for bath time toys baskets.
The brief: can you design a bathroom suitable for two boys (1 and 4)? So I did. It was fun!
