Cabinetry & Construction, Inc.This family bath was given a facelift by installing a new custom vanity cabinet with an absolute black granite top, and custom medicine and storage cabinets. The toilet was replaced by a new water-saving Kohler model. Bath hardware is Kohler Memoirs Stately. The original tile of the 1940's home was retained due to its excellent condition. Beautiful Habitat: Design & DecorationA new Family Bathroom was created on the second floor. It includes a Double Vanity, plus tower for extra storage and display.
To add character and relate to the original 1900's period of the home, we chose black and white subway tiles, vintage inspired cabinets and faucets. A soothing green/blue paint adds color.

With a busy working lifestyle, the homeowners wanted a serene space to relax and unwind, and a bathroom that is suitable for use by all the family.
We created a hotel style suite with roll top freestanding bath, handmade shaker wall panelling and beautiful encaustic tiles by Ca'Pietra.
Amelia WilsonWe started out with quite a different plan for this bathroom. Before tiling we needed to re-plaster the walls but when we exposed the beautiful red sandstone behind, it had to stay. The original design had been pure Victorian but the final design combined Victorian with rustic and the result is striking.
In Your Space Interior Design" I had so much fun designing this bathroom but so much work! I had to plan where every piece of tile would be lined up for the floor and all for walls! The great thing is that both floor tiles and wall tiles come in a huge variety of sizes, styles, colours and patterns, so you can remodel your room completely with whatever tile choices fit with your bathroom ideas. When it comes to flooring, tiles will be durable, easy to clean and deal well with water, but if you want something different you could go with modern concrete, traditional or country-style treated wooden floorboards, or a bit more quirky bamboo, cork or vinyl.
